President Joe Biden, the first lady, and their family jetted off to South Carolina on Wednesday for a week-long vacation on Kiawah Island following the historic raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.
While the country is pretty much on fire as Democrats slam through obscene leftist spending bills while flaunting the law and persecuting political rivals, the media focused on how cute Biden’s grandson Beau looked in a mini-me suit as he waved to the crowd.
It’s unfathomable that, at a time the US is on the verge of war with China and inflation is crushing Americans, the president would see fit to take yet another in a long series of vacations.
The First Couple departed the White House by motorcade to Joint Base Andrews where they were joined on Air Force One by Hunter Biden, daughter-in-law Melissa Cohen, and their grandson Beau, according to the Daily Mail.

The First Family flew to Joint Base Charleston and then were dropped off at a private home in a gated community alongside a golf course on Kiawah Island. The White House did not say exactly how long Biden would be gone or what he would be doing while on vacation.
Kiawah has an oceanfront golf resort and is 25 miles from Charleston. It is known as one of the premier golf destinations on the East Coast.
The Bidens were greeted by protesters who support Trump and are outraged over the unprecedented raid of his private residence. They were mainstream Americans, not wealthy, elitist leftists taking a golf holiday or lounging on a private beach.

The trip also follows the president at long last testing negative for COVID after three weeks of isolation. He still seems to be suffering from a post-COVID cough that he is sharing everywhere he goes.
The visit to South Carolina is the first one since Biden became president. He visited the retreat four times when he was vice president.

Given the void of leadership that is the Biden presidency, Democrats will continue to vote on destructive bills such as the misnomered Inflation Reduction Act without his presence to distract them. They will push through massive spending on climate change which will amount to $369 billion over the next decade. They will also reportedly cap prescription drug costs at $2,000 for Medicare recipients and help an alleged 13 million Americans pay for healthcare insurance by extending subsidies provided during the pandemic.
The media made sure to point out that it is a tradition for presidents to take a vacation in August but what they don’t mention is that presidents don’t typically take one when the country is burning to the ground and is ostensibly on the verge of a civil war. Of course, the White House contends that Biden will still work while away and remotely attend his daily national security briefing regardless of his location.

Biden has typically headed to Delaware to relax, which he does frequently. He stays either at his home in Wilmington or his beach house in Rehoboth when he vacations there.
