Trump supporters gathered at Mar-a-Lago hours after the FBI raided the former president’s home on Monday while he was out of state, asserting that Democrats will do anything to stop him from running for the presidency in 2024.

FBI agents at the behest of the DOJ, the Biden administration, and the Jan. 6 inquisition descended on Trump’s Florida residence allegedly searching for classified documents they claim were taken illegally to his home. The action is historically unprecedented and an affront to a former president. It enraged Trump supporters who wanted to know why no such action was taken against leftists such as Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden.
Trump announced in a statement Monday night via his social media platform Truth Social that his Mar-a-Lago residence was under siege as the FBI stormed it and proceeded to tear the place apart. He was in New York City when the raid took place.
“Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before,” Trump declared. “After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.”
The incident is reminiscent of banana republic-style regimes where dictators forcibly assault innocent citizens whom they feel are a danger to their power.
Fox News Digital’s Matt Leach talked to a number of supporters about the raid in what could be a very short fuse on a political powder keg set to explode.

One supporter named J.D. Kennon traveled across the state of Florida to support Trump and stated, “As soon as I saw it, I drove here from Tampa. This is nuts. We all know what you’re trying to do, DOJ. You’re trying to create some kind of charge so he’s not going to be able to run for reelection.”
Mike Baffumo, another supporter, succinctly got to the heart of the matter, saying, “They’re going to do anything they can to get him. They’re terrified of him. And it’s not because of any other reason than the policies that he supports: America First policies.”
“What they’re doing to the president is wrong. They don’t investigate anything else, but they’re going to investigate him when he’s not even here in the dark in his home,” a supporter named Ashley asserted.

Another man named Matthew agreed with her, “It’s pretty sick what they’re doing. They literally raided this man’s home while he’s in a different state.”
Trump’s detractors also showed up at the estate, classy as ever with vulgar messages on signs, masks, and clothing.
One supporter named George Ford had a different take on it that the left should fear.
“I think what it’s going to do is it’s going to bring the Republican Party together again,” he told Fox News, and many others agree with that statement.
The brutish move could very well solidify the nation against Biden and the Democrats while strengthening the Republican Party. The left could also be trying to provoke violence ahead of the midterm elections.
The raid immediately went viral on social media and spawned outrage on the right while leftists cheered on the formation of a police state.
