‘Uncanny!’ Joe Rogan notices familial resemblance between Justin Trudeau and late communist dictator

Spotify podcaster Joe Rogan joked on his show that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau looks like he could definitely be late Cuban communist dictator Fidel Castro’s son and proclaimed he should get a DNA test.

When reviewing pictures on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” comparing Trudeau to Castro, Rogan was stunned by the resemblance. Both Rogan and his guest, comedian Sam Tripoli, wondered aloud over exactly who was Trudeau’s real father.

A conspiracy theory has floated around for some time that alleges that “El Comandante,” who brutally ruled Cuba with an iron fist for almost five decades, is the biological father of Canada’s premier. But Rogan pointed out that his speculation was just for fun and not meant to validate that theory.

“It’s wild how close he looks. If it’s not his dad, if I was the father I’d be suspicious as sh*t,” Rogan declared.

“The theory was that Castro was Trudeau’s father was also shared wildly on social media,” he claimed. “Just for funsies, let’s Google. Look at the two of them together. There’s multiple photos.”

That’s when he showed viewers a number of side-by-side portraits of Castro and Trudeau. Rogan commented on the “wild” similarities in facial features.

Some are bound to wonder given Trudeau’s penchant for dictatorial mandates and posit that the apple doesn’t far from the tree.

“Yeah, that’s wild. That is f***ing wild,” he stated. “Hey bro, you need a 23andMe right away, sir. It’s wild how close he looks. If it’s not his dad, if I was the father, I’d be suspicious as sh*t.”

Later, Rogan posted a photo of Trudeau’s actual father, the late Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau.

Pretty much putting to rest the conspiracy theory angle, Rogan acknowledged that Pierre Trudeau, who passed away in 2000, looked “a lot” like the younger Trudeau’s “real dad.”

“OK, but he looks like his real dad, too. Yeah, he looks a lot like his real dad,” he said. “OK, I give up. It’s just a coincidence. He looks a lot like his real dad, dude.”

Justin Trudeau’s mother, Margaret, was 22 when she married his 51-year-old father while he was prime minister of Canada. He was born a little over nine months after they were wed.

The Canadian government denied the reports of Castro fathering Trudeau and an Associated Press fact-check revealed that it was more than four years after Justin’s birth that his mother Margaret made her much-publicized first trip to Cuba and met the dictator.

Castro’s oldest son, Fidelito, committed suicide in 2018 at the age of 68. Rumors swirled that he left a suicide note referring to Justin Trudeau as his half-brother.

The Canadian prime minister definitely mourned the passing of the dictator. When Castro died in 2016, Trudeau eulogized him in a statement calling him a “legendary revolutionary and orator.”

He went on to praise the murderous dictator’s “tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for ‘el Comandante.'”

Rogan has previously denounced Trudeau as a “dictator” and flatly called Canada a “communist” country.
