Tomi Lahren reacts to harsh prison sentence for America-hating pothead Brittney Griner; ‘Too bad too sad’

The harsh prison sentence for women’s basketball star Brittney Griner may have generated a hysterical response from President Joe Biden and his fellow left-wingers who are itching for a fight with Vladimir Putin but not everyone is as outraged over her plight, including Tomi Lahren who has little sympathy.

Sometimes life comes at you hard and fast and the seven-time WNBA All-Star who drew raves from the “woke” sports media for her protests against the national anthem may have had a serious change of heart about America after being made to suffer the consequences for smuggling dope into the wrong country where being a black lesbian celebrity doesn’t merit special privilege from the locals when it comes to enforcing drug laws.

The 31-year-old Griner, who has been detained since February after being busted at the Moscow airport with hashish in her vape cartridges, finally had her day in court this week and was hit with nine years behind bars in addition to having to pay a fine of 1 million rubles which is the equivalent of around $16,500 in U.S. currency, a punishment that will give her plenty of time to ponder her anti-American views.

On Thursday after the sentence came down, Lahren threw down a rim-rattling dunk on the Phoenix Mercury star, suggesting that it was karma and that her sentence should be a lesson to other professional athletes who revel in giving a middle finger to the country that made it possible for them to become wealthy and famous for playing a game.

“Brittney Griner is a cautionary tale. Hate America? Think it’s oppressive? Go to another country, play stupid games and find out what oppression and ‘No justice’ looks like. Too bad too sad,” the Fox News contributor wrote on Twitter along with an emoji of the two-fingered peace sign.

In another Tweet on Friday morning, Lahren added, “On the bright side, B Griner won’t have to endure our National Anthem for 9 whole years! What a win for her!”

While Lahren shed no tears for Griner, the reaction from 1600 Pennsylvania NW was much stronger as the COVID-stricken “leader” of the free world decried the court’s decision as “unacceptable” and demanded her release in a White House statement.

“Today, American citizen Brittney Griner received a prison sentence that is one more reminder of what the world already knew: Russia is wrongfully detaining Brittney. It’s unacceptable, and I call on Russia to release her immediately so she can be with her wife, loved ones, friends, and teammates. My administration will continue to work tirelessly and pursue every possible avenue to bring Brittney and Paul Whelan home safely as soon as possible.”

In addition to Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken also took to Twitter to rage against the tattooed, dope-smoking ingrate’s unfair treatment at the hands of the Russians.

“The Russian court’s conviction and sentencing of U.S. citizen Brittney Griner spotlights our concerns with the Russian government’s use of wrongful detentions. I am committed to ensuring we do everything we can to bring home Brittney Griner and Paul Whelan as soon as possible,” wrote possibly the most incompetent figure to ever be installed in charge of Foggy Bottom.

Negotiations in a lopsided trade of Griner for notorious Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, aka the Merchant of Death, with former U.S. Marine Paul Whelan who has been imprisoned since 2018 as a part of the deal have reportedly been ongoing, an exchange that received a very negative review from former President Donald J. Trump, the master of “the art of the deal” who gave it two thumbs-down.

“She went in there loaded up with drugs into a hostile territory where they’re very vigilant about drugs,” Trump told nationally syndicated radio hosts Clay Travis and Buck Sexton during a weekend interview at his Bedminster, N.J. golf resort.

“They don’t like drugs. And she got caught. And now we’re supposed to get her out — and she makes, you know, a lot of money, I guess. But we’re supposed to get her out for an absolute killer, and one of the biggest arms dealers in the world. Killed many Americans. Killed many people,” the former and perhaps future POTUS said.

“He’s gonna get a ‘free card.’ And we’re gonna get her. She knew — you don’t go in there loaded up with drugs. And she admitted it. I assume she admitted it without too much force because it is what it is. And it certainly doesn’t seem like a very good trade, does it?” Trump asked.

One thing is certain, if the Biden regime pulls the trigger on the deal, Griner will be given a hero’s welcome by her fellow America-haters.
