COVID-stricken President Joe Biden will remain in isolation after testing positive for a seventh straight day, keeping the gaffe-prone career politician in a controlled environment as narrative engineers work on shifting public opinion about the deeply unpopular leader in the run-up to the critical midterm elections.
On Friday, Biden’s physician Kevin O’Connor reported that the twice-jabbed and multiple-boosted 79-year-old has run his streak of positive results to a full week but said that the patient is showing signs of improvement and that his cough is “almost completely resolved.”
“His temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation remain entirely normal,” O’Connor added. “This morning, his SARS-CoV-2 antigen testing remained positive.”
Biden, who first tested positive on July 21 – the day after a disastrous climate change speech during which he seemed to say that he has cancer – was briefly cleared to return to action the next week, told the press that he was tougher than former President Donald J. Trump when it comes to COVID and then in a whirlwind development, was back in isolation after testing positive again three days later.
“The president will continue his strict isolation measures as previously described,” Dr. O’Connor said.
While Biden will remain effectively sequestered in the basement, Senate Democrats have abandoned testing altogether as they make the final push for their massive reconciliation package that wraps up the Green New Deal, tax hikes for ordinary Americans, and a massive infusion of money into the IRS which will be transformed into a fearsome entity that will be empowered to shake down taxpayers to fund the regime’s transformational climate change agenda.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has adopted a “don’t test, don’t tell” approach rather than risk losing valuable time if a lawmaker is sidelined by a positive test as the Orwellian named “Inflation Reduction Act” is expected to be shoved down the throats of Americans like the bitter pill that it is by the tyranny of the majority.
“They’re not going to delay it if a member has gotten COVID,” an unnamed senior Senate aide dished to Puck News. “Counterparts are saying they’re not going to test anymore. It’s not an official mandate but we all know we’re not letting COVID get in the way. The deal is happening. Less testing, just wear masks and get it done.”
“When Chuck Schumer was asked about a plan B today in case someone drops out with Covid he said: ‘We’re not talking about a plan B. We’re going to stay healthy.’ Another source said that if you catch Covid ‘you can bring your ventilator and still vote…” Puck News reported of the party’s brazen hypocrisy.
