Pro Football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens got into a racially charged faceoff with a “Karen” neighbor who accused him of speeding through the neighborhood, while dramatically crying that he nearly hit her.
Owens, 48, who played for 15 years in the NFL, got the exchange on video Wednesday night including his conversation with police concerning the incident. He proceeded to post it on Instagram.
“I’m driving to my mailbox, she’s telling me that I’m speeding,” Owens said to the police officers. “Telling me to slow down.”
The woman, who was on a bicycle, also accused the former All-Pro receiver of attempting to intimidate her after calling the police on him.
“He got out of his car and started harassing me,” the woman told the police officers.
“But you didn’t have to get out of your f***ing car!” she screamed at Owens.
“You didn’t have to talk to me that way, either,” the former NFL wide receiver replied.

Then the woman decided to bring race into the picture and started yelling, “You’re a black man approaching a white woman!”
She proceeded to break into tears while her husband was apparently trying to get her to go inside and stop making a spectacle of herself. She didn’t listen to him.
“He literally came after me,” the woman wept.
“I didn’t almost hit you, now you’re just making up stuff, just like a Karen,” Owens responded.
That Terrell owens video is mad, she really said “you’re a black man approaching a white woman”like he committed a crime doing that. Knew it was only a matter of time before she pulled the white Karen tears out

Another woman, who is off-camera, appeared to defend Owens. She said that Owens did not almost strike the woman and that he was not speeding through the neighborhood.
Owens stayed calm during the whole affair although he was more than a little put off by the crocodile tears. He willingly handed his identification to officers when asked for it while recording the altercation.
“Here you go, sir,” he told the officer, handing him his ID.
“I swear to God, I have never been in a situation like this. I’ve seen it, but I’ve never been a part of this,” Owens said on video referring to the “Karen” who was throwing accusations at him.
I see Terrell Owens had a Karen situation happen tonight in his own neighborhood. This white lady said "you're a black man approaching a white woman" then she threw on the water works of sympathy. Smfh.

He continued to refer to the woman as a “Karen” which seemed appropriate given her statement using race as some kind of excuse for her behavior. The label has become common when referring to leftist women who feel they are somehow entitled to something.
Owens also said that the woman accused him of being behind on various Homeowners Association payments.
It is unknown who the woman is or the location of the incident. Owens reportedly owns a residence in Broward County, Florida, so that may be where all of this took place.
Terrell Owens is trending because he was the mature adult.

He captioned the video, “KAREN IS REAL!!!!”
“Wow!! JUST A NORMAL NIGHT OF BEING A BLACK MAN IN AMERICA,” he continued. “I want to say I can’t believe it but y’all know what it is. #karenonbikes #tears #falseaccusations #hernameiskate.”
The video lasts almost eleven minutes. Police say no one was arrested and the parties were separated, according to TMZ.
