When it comes to politicians giving advice, you could set your watch by the evasive, politically correct answers given with the intent to win votes rather than actually help people. But not when it comes to Senator John Kennedy, R-La.
Kennedy is “too outspoken,” and he has been known to pop up in the news for throwing around some good quips. However, the ad he posted to Twitter on Wednesday may just be some of his finest work.

“People say I’m too outspoken. It’s true,” Kennedy happily admitted. “I have the right to remain silent, I just don’t have the ability. I’m just being me, John Kennedy.”
Then he started taking swings at the Washington elites.
“Folks, I will never completely fit in. For all those Washington insider elite bed wetters whose feelings I hurt, here’s some free advice: Go buy yourself an emotional support pony because I’m not gonna shut up,” he warned.
That’s when he sealed the deal with a zinger.
“And one more thing. Always be yourself. Unless you suck,” he smiled into the camera.
