As former President Trump’s ex-wife Ivana Trump was laid to rest, the family effectively canceled Hillary Clinton by allegedly removing her name from a 1992 Vanity Fair cover that was displayed at the memorial.
The elegant funeral was held at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, near Ivana Trump’s home where she fell down a staircase and tragically died last week.
The Trump family gathered for the sendoff in New York City, tearfully bidding farewell to Ivana Trump who is the mother of Donald Trump’s three oldest children, Eric, Ivanka, and Donald Trump Jr.
Photos that were published by both the New York Post and People showed the edited Vanity Fair cover that was displayed by the altar in the church.
It appears like they displayed Ivana Trump’s 1992 Vanity Fair cover at her funeral, but edited out the headline in the bottom-left corner about Hillary Clinton’s White House ambitions. pic.twitter.com/3NrczCn6mv

The original cover shows Ivana sitting on a yellow couch with the headline “Ivana Be a Star.” It also had the headline for Hillary Clinton asking, “Will she get to the White House with Bill or without him?” The cover came out during former President Bill Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign.
Two other headlines were on the original cover. One was for conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh and the other was about Imelda Marcos, the former first lady of the Philippines. Both of those were left intact.

There has been no explanation on why Hillary Clinton’s headline was removed. Once upon a time, Donald Trump and the Clintons were friends. They attended Trump’s wedding to Melania in 2005. But the relationship went south when Trump and Hillary Clinton ran against each other in the 2016 presidential election.
Vanity Fair asserted that the original cover did include the Hillary Clinton headline and pictures of it verify that claim. The magazine outlet claimed that a “Photoshop job appears to be the likeliest explanation” but admitted that there is a possibility that “subscriber editions” were published without the headline. It’s also possible that Ivana was given a version that did not have Hillary Clinton’s headline on it.
The funeral was timeless and emotional with Ivana Trump’s golden casket carried by those who loved and respected her. The entire family came together for the funeral.

All three of Ivana’s children spoke at her two-hour Mass service on Wednesday in front of 100 mourners. The former president and first lady were both in attendance. So was their 16-year-old son Barron.
It was a private affair that spoke to the elegance that was Ivana Trump. Her children eulogized her and remembered her with glowing pride.
“Growing up, my mother didn’t tell me a woman could do anything she wanted to — she showed me,” Ivanka Trump said at the funeral, according to the Daily Mail. “She was a trailblazer to men and women alike. My mother once told me there was nothing she couldn’t do in heels.”
“She taught us how to spearfish and then cook what we caught. My mom expanded our minds,” she continued.
“My mother hated funerals,” Ivanka Trump reportedly said at the beginning of her eulogy, according to People. “She wanted to celebrate life.”
Heartbroken by the passing of my mother. Mom was brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny. She lived life to the fullest — never forgoing an opportunity to laugh and dance.
I will miss her forever and will keep her memory alive in our hearts always. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/EyhrLNLUJw

Donald Trump Jr. spoke of his memories of his mother before returning to his seat. He said, “I love you, mom.”
Ivana’s youngest son, Eric, adored her, “She had brains; she had beauty. She was the embodiment of the American dream…”
“She was a force of nature, could beat any man down the slopes, any woman on the runway,” he stated according to the Daily Mail. “She ruled the three of us [kids] with an iron fist but also a heart of gold.”
Red roses adorned the altar. They were surrounded by 73 candles symbolizing Ivana’s age at the time of her death.
Following the invitation-only funeral service, Ivana’s casket was carried out of the church in front of family and friends. Her caregiver reportedly wept as she was taken to the hearse. Ivana was laid to rest at her ex-husband’s tony Bedminster Golf Club.
