Throughout President Joe Biden’s tenure, issues surrounding transparency have only further heightened the belief that there is cause for concern in the executive branch and, now that the gaffetastic president has been waylaid by the coronavirus, Fox News host Greg Gutfeld contended some form of cover-up may be at play.
Biden’s approval keeps hitting new lows and with the Democrats’ agenda hinging on success during the midterm elections, bolstering the party’s favorability is paramount ahead of November. Understanding that, Gutfeld argued on Friday’s edition of “The Five” that he has no reason to doubt the president actually has COVID, but he’s suspicious of the “when” of the commander-in-chief’s diagnosis.
“I don’t question the diagnosis at all. I just questioned the timing of it,” he argued to the panel after a montage of recent occurrences that included an update from the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator, Dr. Ashish Jha.
Jha had joined the White House press briefing to provide some details on Biden’s condition in place of the president’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, and his report made the president appear to be every bit the invalid.
“The president is doing better. He slept well last night. He ate his breakfast and lunch – fully. He actually showed me his plate!” Jha said as he mimed holding up any empty dish. “Didn’t ask about the menu, but I did see an empty plate with crumbs and I had some guesses.”
UPDATE: Joe Biden took his nap and ate his food like a big boy. He even showed his handlers that he made a happy plate!!

Gutfeld carried on about his suspicions and said, “I mean, first you had that wacko cancer gaffe from two days ago, right? In which the media rushed to the defense: ‘Oh, no, he had skin cancer.’ That’s not what we’re talking about. We’re talking about the fact that he said he got cancer from oil, and it made no sense. But now you have polling that shows that he’s less popular than getting punched in the face.”
“So there could be a reason for a lot of this, that they’re just trying to hide him,” the Fox News host argued of the strategy employed during Biden’s presidential campaign, “because that’s the only thing that works and perhaps maybe to generate some sympathy next week, they’re going to say you know, ‘he has fibroids’ because, as you know, men can get pregnant.”
Gutfeld’s joke about woke ideologues aside, a recent report from fellow Fox News host Tucker Carlson detailed that Biden was allegedly medicating to get through public appearances, “Well, it turned out, we learned later, his staff, supervised by Dr. Jill, his wife, was giving him pills before every public appearance, checking the time and at a certain hour, giving him a dose of something.”

In a Friday letter on Biden’s condition, O’Connor made clear that a number of the president’s listed medications were being withheld while he takes Paxlovid for COVID.
“His apixaban (ELIQUIS) and rosuvastatin (Crestor) are being held during PAXLOVID treatment and for several days after his last dose,” the doctor wrote. “During this time, it is reasonable to add low dose aspiring as an alternative type of blood thinner.”
