Leftist media panics over ‘plan’ that Trump is prepping to purge DOJ, FBI, Pentagon if reelected: report

A 7,000-word story was published by Axios on Friday warning about the so-called “radical plan” by former President Trump and his allies to clean house in the DOJ, FBI, and Pentagon once he is reelected in 2024.

Axios’ Jonathan Swan is ringing alarm bells over the possibility but many Americans contend that’s exactly what is needed.

Swift claims the plan is based on a last-minute executive order from Trump in 2020 known as “Schedule F.” It reportedly takes direct aim at the “deep state” and purges woke progressives and Marxists from government agencies.

“Trump signed an executive order, ‘Creating Schedule F in the Excepted Service,’ in October 2020, which established a new employment category for federal employees,” Swan wrote.

“Tens of thousands of civil servants who serve in roles deemed to have some influence over policy would be reassigned as ‘Schedule F’ employees. Upon reassignment, they would lose their employment protections,” he commented.

“Schedule F” employees could allegedly be terminated without recourse under the order. Swan contends that approximately 50,000 employees from government agencies such as the Department of Justice, the FBI, the Pentagon, the Environmental Protection Agency, the IRS, and the State Department could purportedly find themselves on the chopping block.

Trump’s people would then fill those roles. That is a normal occurrence when administrations switch hands and parties. Career civil servants, however, don’t see it that way anymore. Those in domestic and international intelligence, security, and other key governing positions feel they have a right to hold on to their jobs despite their leftist politics and the wishes of an incoming conservative president.

Even though President Biden rescinded “Schedule F,” Democrats live in fear of it because they pretty much know that Republicans will sweep the midterm elections this year and have a good chance to win the presidency next time around. They see the writing on the wall.

“Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.), who chairs the subcommittee that oversees the federal civil service, is among a small group of lawmakers who never stopped worrying about Schedule F,” Swan noted.

“Connolly has been so alarmed that he attached an amendment to this year’s defense bill to prevent a future president from resurrecting Schedule F. The House passed Connolly’s amendment but Republicans hope to block it in the Senate,” he added.

When Trump retakes the White House, his “machine” is already in place to overhaul the government according to Swan.

Swan dives into what he believes is Trump’s inner circle and how it has changed since he left office. He claims that there is no one with a moderating influence close to Trump anymore.

Trump appears to be turning ever more conservative and has learned from hard experience the last go-around to not instill RINOs or moderates in his orbit. That terrifies Democrats.

The paranoia runs deep in the piece by Swan. Especially when it comes to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife Ginni. He asserts that she reportedly held meetings with Trump to gossip about who was loyal and who was disloyal in the federal government. That is extremely unlikely but it does show how much the left fears Ginni Thomas.

“Her recommendations to the White House included appointing the right-wing talk radio provocateur and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino for a Homeland Security or counterterrorism adviser role,” Swan stated.
