Aides are jumping ship at an alarming rate in Kamala Harris’ office, including a second speechwriter, and tweeps are hilariously mocking the departures with helpful writing suggestions.

Two more top aides are exiting stage left in a long procession of those heading for the lifeboats on the vice president’s version of the titanic.

Domestic Policy Adviser Rohini Kosoglu announced that she will be departing in August and Director of Speechwriting Meghan Groob is also stepping down after only four months according to Politico. Groob took over for Kate Childs Graham who left in February.

Groob’s departure follows a particularly vapid speech that Harris gave last week concerning transportation.

“Together, we are expanding access to transportation. Seems like maybe it’s a small issue, it’s a big issue,” the vice president cringingly stated. “You need to get to go, and you to be able to get where you need to go, to do the work, and get home.”

In an interview with CBS earlier in the week, she impressively fumbled the ball on abortion as well. “I think that to be very honest with you, I do believe that we should have rightly believed, but we certainly believe that certain issues are just settled. Certain issues are just settled,’ Harris said during the “Face The Nation” interview.

Kosoglu had been with Harris for almost six years. She served on the vice president’s presidential campaign, then her transition team, and finally in the vice president’s office. She is giving the canned excuse of spending more time with her family.

Harris called Kosoglue a “brilliant and trusted leader who has been at my side for years from the U.S. Senate to the campaign trail to the White House.”

“She has brought vision, strategic judgment, and a depth of experience as our administration has addressed some of the most urgent challenges facing our nation,” the vice president proclaimed in a statement. “She is an exceptional public servant and I am enormously grateful for her service. Rohini will remain a valued advisor and friend.”

Turnover is not just a malady for the vice president, it has become commonplace. She has lost at least 15 people on her staff since she has been in office with President Joe Biden.

Both former press secretary Symone Sanders and communications director Ashley Etienne announced their departures at the end of last year.

This year, deputy press secretary Sabrina Singh announced her resignation after serving under Harris following her withdrawal from the Democratic presidential primary. Singh departed in March for another role within the administration. Harris’ former chief of staff Tina Flournoy, who was part of the transition team, has left as well.

The departures come after a series of gaffes, word salads, and disastrous appearances by Harris. It is also widely rumored that her office is dysfunctional and hostile to work in.
