Transgender ‘woman’ offers NJ prison officials a lesson in biology after impregnating two inmates

A transgender female won a legal battle to get into a women’s correctional facility in New Jersey and then impregnated two female inmates, providing officials a lesson in biology that appears to have ben the impetus to move the jailbird to a different facility.

The “female” inmate was transferred from a women’s prison to the vulnerable unit at the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility for males last month, Department of Corrections spokesman Dan Sperrazza told NJ.com.

Biologically male Demi Minor is the only “woman” at the new site.

Minor was reportedly placed at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women last August after a long legal battle concerning Minor’s original placement in a prison for men since he identifies himself as a woman.

In April, it was reported that Minor engaged in “consensual sexual relationships with another incarcerated person” although the identities of the inmates were not disclosed at the time.

A July 15 blog post by Minor claimed that he was put on suicide watch at the new location “due to the fact that I had hung myself in the van” and alleged that he was mocked by the guards who refused to use his preferred pronouns to refer to him as a “her.”

“Subsequently I was transferred to New Jersey State Prison, where guards continued to call me he and him,” Minor wrote. “I was called he and him well over 30 times, this has not happened to me in years being referred to primarily as a man.”

“[New Jersey Department of Corrections or NJDOC] have violated my right to be safe and free from sexual harassment, by putting me in one of the most violent youth Correctional facilities,” Minor continued. “While living here at GYSC, I have found my self (sic) under attack by young inmates who are immature and just plain ignorant towards a person like me.”

In a previous post Minor claimed he was beaten during his transfer but the NJDOC would not comment due to it being an ongoing investigation.

“NJDOC cannot comment on any active investigations,” the NJDOC said. “The Department has zero tolerance for abuse, and the safety and security of the incarcerated population and staff are of critical importance.”

Several photos of Minor were posted to social media that were taken after he got a haircut that an officer told him would make him “look less like a woman” while in jail while serving his 30-year sentence for manslaughter.

He is obviously not a biologist because in his blog “Justice for Demi” he also expressed his shock that his “partner” was pregnant.

“The fact that I had been on hormones. I just did not think that a pregnancy was possible,” Minor lamented.

Social media on the other hand, had a pretty good idea of why the transgender woman managed to get women pregnant.
