Bestselling author J.K. Rowling has refused to back down on the destructive nature of woke gender theory, and her commitment to “staying in the trenches” zeroed in on a reported doctor maligning disabled women as “psychotic.”
Though she’s been labeled a TERF (trans-exclusionary radical feminist) and has faced the cancel culture mob after they deemed her transphobic, the author of the Harry Potter series has remained adamant in her stance that the promotion of gender identity ideology has serious consequences for women. Her latest foray into the textual battlefield of Twitter contended men telling women how to feel about transgender issues is nothing more than misogyny pretending to be activism.
Rowling posted a bunch of red flags when she retweeted a thread from an anonymous user who had called out a Dr. Māorio generalization of women and wrote, “Intimate touching without consent is sexual assault. A self-proclaimed doctor says it’s ‘psychotic’ for disabled women to assert the right to female-only intimate care. I’m praying he’s not actually an MD, just a standard misogynist here to troll, but either way.”

She followed that up by encouraging users to read the article of Dr EM from 2019 titled “Why Disabled Women Requesting Female Only Intimate Care is Not ‘Disgusting'” and cautioned, “If you’ve got a strong stomach, read Dr Em’s article…Another male gender identity activist – one of the most notorious – calls disabled women wanting privacy and dignity ‘disgusting’.”

Dr Em, who wrote, “This man thinks women and girls who require single-sex intimate care, having their vulva and breasts washed, are psychotic for refusing unknown males to touch their bodies. That disabled women should be forced to be men’s play toys,” was reacting to the gender activist’s initial barrage against the user WomenAreWomen.
She had been engaged in a debate on the primacy of grasping the realities that gender ideology avoids and wrote, “No. No. No. No. I would do anything to be focusing on something else – primarily disability rights. But nothing comes before fighting gender ideology. It’s not just a matter of saving women and girls, but of saving material reality itself. Don’t dare tell me it’s ONE ISSUE.”
it's one issue though, and a really stupid one to get psychotically hung up on. You'll be happier and might actually achieve something good for people if you switched your monomania to disability advocacy.

To that, the supposed Dr. Māorio responded, “it’s one issue though, and a really stupid one to get psychotically hung up on. You’ll be happier and might actually achieve something good for people if you switched your monomania to disability advocacy.”
Dr. Em had recounted her personal experience of being hospitalized with brain damage where, “as a schoolgirl [she] was stripped naked and washed by strangers, for months” and that she was unable to communicate the distress this caused her. Discussing the “deep shame and hurt to tell people” how it felt to be washed in intimate places she asked, “This was distressing enough with same-sex nurses, can you imagine what it would have been like having an unknown male do this to me?”
On a positive note, Rowling’s stance has gained support from rational minds and one user responded, “How can anyone even have an issue with this? In my early adult life, I worked at retirement homes. If certain old ladies only wanted females to shower them or help with post-toilet hygiene, then it’s just ‘okay ma’am lemme get one of the girls.'” The author personally thanked the user sharing reason.
Thank you for your decency and professionalism. I’m married to a doctor who feels exactly the same way you do.

The conclusion seems to be that the people who have issues are those who have not and potentially may never be directly impacted by the negative consequences of the promotion of gender theory. As Rowling went on to tweet, “Gender identity ideology has allowed a ton of unreconstructed misogynists to drop the pose and unleash all their woman hate in public and my god, aren’t they loving it.”

Rowling’s counter-fight to protect women’s rights will carry on as she noted in one of a series of positive engagements on the platform, “Don’t worry, I’m staying in the trenches.”
