Following radicals harassing Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in D.C. while he was having dinner at Morton’s Steakhouse, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez justified it and mocked him while making false claims about abortion procedures.
The New York Democrat falsely claimed that Kavanaugh had made it illegal to treat ectopic pregnancies in a number of states, justifying pro-abortion advocates besieging him while he was dining out and forcing the justice to exit the back of the establishment to avoid potential violent confrontations. She was flagged on Twitter by conservatives for the claim.
“Poor guy. He left before his soufflé because he decided half the country should risk death if they have an ectopic pregnancy within the wrong state lines. It’s all very unfair to him. The least they could do is let him eat cake,” she quipped on social media maligning Kavanaugh in the process and using a phrase far more appropriately applied to leftist elitists such as Ocasio-Cortez than the Supreme Court justice.
Protesters also allegedly harassed the restaurant’s manager, calling on the employer to throw Kavanaugh out of the establishment.

The attacks and threats against Kavanaugh come after he joined five other justices on the Supreme Court to overturn the landmark abortion case Roe vs. Wade, handing the decision on the legality of abortion back to the States respectively.
Morton’s Steakhouse told Politico that “honorable Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh and all of our other patrons at the restaurant were unduly harassed by unruly protestors while eating dinner at our Morton’s restaurant. Politics, regardless of your side or views, should not trample the freedom at play of the right to congregate and eat dinner.”
“There is a time and place for everything. Disturbing the dinner of all of our customers was an act of selfishness and void of decency,” the establishment’s spokesman charged.

An ectopic pregnancy occurs when an embryo implants itself outside of the uterus, many times in the fallopian tube. The pregnancy is not viable and the treatment of the life-threatening condition is legal in all 50 states. It is not considered an abortion.
“No matter how an obstetrician feels about abortion, we all treat ectopic pregnancies the same way,” Dr. Ingrid Skop, who is the director of medical affairs at the pro-life Charlotte Lozier Institute, told National Review in an interview in June. “We feel compelled to treat it as soon as possible.”
“I will never understand the pearl-clutching over these protests,” Ocasio-Cortez whined, not caring who is unjustly threatened or persecuted in the furtherance of her political agenda. “Republicans send people to protest me all the time, sometimes drunk and belligerent. Nobody cares about it unless it’s a Republican in a restaurant. Can someone please explain the obsession because I don’t get it.”

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also proclaimed the Biden administration’s support for the protesters outside of Morton’s, disingenuously telling Fox News’ Peter Doocy that “this is what a democracy is.”
