Singer Macy Gray unabashedly told host Piers Morgan in a no-holds-barred interview that she doesn’t support transgenders competing against biological women in sports and was immediately blasted for it by the ever-tolerant cancel-culture mob.
When asked about the issue by Morgan, she bluntly replied, “Just because you go and change your parts doesn’t make you a woman, sorry.”
Gray knew what she was getting into when she made the statement and told Morgan that people will “hate me for saying this” but “I know that for a fact.”
“If you want me to call you a her, I will, because that’s what you want but that doesn’t make you a woman just because I call you a her and just because you got a surgery,” she added.

Piers Morgan went on to point out that most public figures were terrified of saying “what a woman is” and asked the singer what she defined a woman as.
“I know!… I would say a human being with boobs. How about you start there? And a vagina,” Gray responded.
As the two of them were discussing transgender women in sports, Morgan stated, “I support all trans rights to fairness and equality.” But pointed out that he doesn’t support them in women’s sports because of their “physically superior bodies.”
Gray went on to point out, “A woman goes through a completely unique experience and surgery, and finding yourself doesn’t change that. Being a little girl is a whole epic book, you know? You can’t have that just because you want to be a woman.”
Then Morgan brought up Harry Potter author JK Rowling who has been thrashed as transphobic for saying the same thing.
“But it’s the truth,” Gray replied, adding, “I don’t think you should be called transphobic just because you don’t agree… there is a lot of judgment and throwing stones at people for just saying what it is, do you know what I mean?”
For her part, Rowling tweeted, “Today feels like a good day to ensure I’ve bought @MacyGraysLife’s entire back catalogue 🔥.”

Leftists on social media quickly branded Gray a Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist (TERF).
“I didn’t have Macy Gray being a terf on my bingo card f*cking yikes ??? cis women are so embarrassing like why the f*ck you even care. am i only a woman because of my parts? that’s all we’re limited to?” one commenter stated.
Trans journalist Imara Jones tweeted, “Oh no! [Macy Gray] has gone full transphobic on [Piers Morgan] on 4 July no less! Her selective freedom for some is a ‘no’ from me. We have so much work to do [to] help everyone see that patriarchy is a universal problem. This is sad.”

“Macy Gray, as she predicted, is already being abused, hounded, shamed & branded ‘transphobic’ by the usual vile, vicious mob who attack women that defend women’s rights. I stand with you @MacyGraysLife – thanks for your courage and honesty,” Morgan said in defense of Gray.
One man viciously attacked Gray for her views, “Macy Gray saying transphobic stuff is whack as f*ck. Report THAT you terfs.”
Morgan shot back, “If there’s one thing worse than the vicious trans activist mob coming for women who defend women, it’s virtue-signalling men like this fuelling the pile-on. Repulsive. 👇.”

Gray’s comments follow actress Bette Midler inadvertently enraging the left over the same issue.
“WOMEN OF THE WORLD! We are being stripped of our rights over our bodies, our lives and even of our name! They don’t call us ‘women’ anymore; they call us ‘birthing people’ or ‘menstruators’, and even ‘people with vaginas’! Don’t let them erase you! Every human on earth owes you!” Midler wrote.
