Jane Fonda’s tweet about guns and ‘vaginas’ generates screaming laughter, endless entertainment

Far-left actress and political activist Jane Fonda was flogged on Twitter after she offered up her own unique take on the Supreme Court’s recent rulings on abortion and Second Amendment rights but ended up shooting herself in the foot with her bizarre remarks on female anatomy and assault weapons.

The octogenarian Hollywood icon who has been dogged for decades by the nickname of “Hanoi Jane” over her wartime trip to Vietnam where she posed for pictures with the enemy at a time when U.S. troops were still being killed in battle, likened women’s private parts to the weapon favored by her Viet Cong communist friends.

According to Fonda, “If a corporation can be defined as a person, why not redefine vaginas as AK47s. That way they’d be free of governmental restrictions by those who care about ‘the sanctity of life’.”

Whatever point that Fonda may have been trying to get across was immediately met with all of the mockery that her asinine pontificating about rulings that the left don’t agree with was truly deserving of with former NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch winning the internet with her epic retort.

“I think hers is high-capacity,” the nationally syndicated radio host tweeted.

“Plenty of American models, but of course she wants all our vaginas to be old Commies,” tweeted conservative writer and commentator Mary Katharine Ham.

Other Twitter users joined in on the fun.

Hanoi Jane may be 84 but she’s still as bat guano crazy as ever and her history gives her a degree of gravitas with generations of leftists that few others can claim.

Fonda forever cemented her legacy with her 1972 trip to North Vietnam while Americans were dying in the fight against the communists where she played footsie with the VC while sitting atop an anti-aircraft gun used to fire on U.S. warplanes, spinning pure propaganda gold for the enemy with video footage of her trashing her own country.

During the trip, she posed with an NVA anti-aircraft battery of the type that was used to shoot down American planes which was a propaganda coup that money couldn’t buy, that spurred outrage against the dopey privileged hippie actress whose appalling anti-Americanism delivered a boost to enemy morale as the war was winding down.

In the ensuing decades, she has become a hated figure, especially with Vietnam vets who along with other patriots have viewed her as a traitor ever since that ill-fated trip. But she is a cherished elder figure with the resistance, throwing her support behind Bernie Sanders in the 2020 election, no great surprise because the two are birds of a feather.

Fonda has been nominated seven times for the Oscar during her long career and took home the statue twice; once for her role as a prostitute in 1972’s “Klute” and again in 1979 in “Coming Home,” a movie about a traumatized disabled Vietnam vet played by Jon Voight, a staunch conservative and a Trump supporter who has been an outspoken critic of the anti-American Hollywood left.

Fonda’s misfire on vaginas and communist weapons may have been kooky to the extreme but it’s vintage Fonda and her 913.2K Twitter followers ate it up despite the ridicule that it invited from normal people.
