Wanda Sykes’ rant bashing ‘that red stuff’ in middle America an ‘illustrative look inside the lib mindset’

Comedian Wanda Sykes illustrated just how shallowly liberals think by proclaiming on “The Late Show” with Stephen Colbert that the U.S. is “no longer a democracy” following the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald tweeted that the “video from the Democratic Party late-night show provides a fascinating and highly illustrative look inside the liberal mindset.”

He went on to tweet a reply to a Twitter user who claimed that Sykes was correct in her statements, “As a ‘left-wing zealot,’ you believe that the highest-income Americans should get their way in the US by virtue of their higher earnings, and that lower-income people should shut up and do what they’re told? That’s what she argued.”

The segment was a bash fest by Colbert and Sykes against the Supreme Court justices for overturning the landmark abortion case with Sykes declaring the country was over and Colbert nodding sagely.

“I’m a black, gay woman and I have a daughter. So I’m not doing so well right now,” the leftist actress and comedian stated Monday during the segment after Colbert asked how she was faring.

Sykes tore into the Supreme Court with leftwing abandon concerning the striking down of the landmark abortion case.’

“It’s like the country, it’s no longer a democracy, right? I mean, we’re no longer majority rule,” Sykes vacuously said displaying a stunning ignorance of the Constitution and a misinformed assessment of exactly what majority rule entails.

Of course, she blamed conservatives and red states in flyover country while showing her elitist disdain for the “riff-raff” who do not condone leftist totalitarian policies and the unsanctioned murder of babies.

“The problem is that middle stuff. It is those states in the middle, that red stuff. Why do they tell get to tell us what to do, where the majority of us live out, New York, California, and we are paying for all this crap, really,” Sykes asserted to Colbert seemingly clueless to the fact that the food on her table comes from that “middle stuff.”

“That’s the Union,” Colbert told her.

“It’s supposed to be a representative democracy, but it turns out to be minority rule right now,” the biased host contended, highlighting the fact that he doesn’t understand that the United States is a Republic, not a democracy.

“California, if it were a country, it’d be like the fourth-, fifth-largest economy,” Sykes said parroting yet another liberal talking point.

“So if, you know, I’m fitting the bill, know your position. You know what I’m saying?” the less-than-funny comic quipped.

“If I say, ‘Hey, let’s go out to dinner.’ You don’t get to pick the restaurant. Just shut up and eat,” Sykes declared attempting to put mainstream America in their place… under the boot of Democrats.

“These judges … basically lied during their confirmation hearings,” she charged. “How can you be a Supreme Court justice when you just lyin’? They had their fingers crossed or something?”

Sykes is notoriously anti-Trump and couldn’t resist wading into the Jan. 6 conflict.

“I think things would be normal like if people — especially elected officials who tried to overthrow the election — if they went to jail. That will feel normal,” she flatly stated, showing her true colors and mindset.
