‘Call-my-bluff’ Kari Lake delivers strong statement after GOP Senate sellout on gun control bill

The latest perceived RINO cave-in to Democrats, this time on “bipartisan” legislation that will further erode the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Americans, drew a strong response from Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake who came out with guns blazing.

Lake, who has been the target of a vicious smear campaign in which a transgender stripper alleged that she hosted a drag queen party at her home with her young daughter in attendance, took to Twitter to announce that if she ends up replacing current GOP Governor Doug Ducey that she won’t recognize Washington’s “unconstitutional” intrusions on the freedom of Arizona gun owners.

“When I’m Governor, Arizona will not recognize unconstitutional Gun Laws in our state. We just won’t do it,” Lake wrote. “What are the Feds going to do? Fly down here and arrest a sitting Governor? Call my bluff.”

Despite efforts of conservative lawmakers like Senator Mike Lee of Utah to slow the runaway train of the Democrat bill that has the backing of gun-grabber in chief Joe Biden, 14 nominal Republican senators led by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and including failed GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, double-dealing Lindsay Graham, Texas’s John Cornyn and the two-headed monster of Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski sided with the opposition party in advancing the legislation, clearing the way for red flag laws that will surely be abused to target Trump supporters.

“This country was born from the fight against tyranny, Lake’s official campaign Twitter account wrote, “When faced with government overreach, @KariLake will slap away Big Government’s hand. It’s time to Make Federalism Great Again.”

Twitter users reacted to Lake’s shooting from the hip with her defiant response.

The feisty former Phoenix TV news anchor, who according to recent polling has opened up a double-digit lead in the state’s Republican gubernatorial primary, went on the offensive against the allegations of longtime local drag performer Richard Stevens aka Barbra Seville and reporters at the Arizona Republic by threatening to sue them for defamation.

“Like clockwork, the Fake Media will latch on any story, regardless of its validity. Kari Lake is serving Mr. Stevens a defamatory lawsuit and is more than happy to do the same to Media outlets that promote these lies as truth,” according to a statement posted by Lake on Instagram. “These animals are salivating over a fake story, pulling out every stop to hurt our America-First Movement in Arizona.”

Lake’s stance on the Second Amendment could not be more clear.

“Shall. Not. Be. Infringed,” her website states.

There is nothing that absolutely terrifies Democrats and their emotionally unbalanced leftist shock troops more than a strong, heterosexual, Christian conservative woman. And their crazed attacks on Kari Lake are a dead giveaway that she is a serious contender to win the governorship in the critical swing state.
