With leftists clamoring for the J6 select committee to complete the “high tech lynching” of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas by railroading his wife Ginni Thomas for her alleged role in the so-called “insurrection” leading to demands for his resignation, the longest serving justice on the nation’s highest court was defended by Justice Sonya Sotomayor.
The far-left Barack Obama appointee took up for her fellow justice, praising the conservative Thomas as a “friend” who deeply cares about the integrity of the SCOTUS, remarks that didn’t go over well with the mob that’s demanding his head on a pike.
The “wise Latina” made her remarks while speaking at the American Constitution Society, a progressive organization that according to its website, “dedicates itself to advancing and defending democracy, justice, equality, and liberty; to securing a government that serves the public interest; and to guarding against the abuse of law and the concentration of power.”
“I suspect I have probably disagreed with him more than with any other justice, that we have not joined each other’s opinions more than anybody else, and yet Justice Thomas is the one justice in the building that literally knows every employee’s name, every one of them,” Sotomayor said. “And not only does he know their names, he remembers their families’ names and histories.”
She continued, “He’s the first one who will go up to someone when you’re walking with him and say, is your son ok? How’s your daughter doing in college? He’s the first one who when my stepfather died, sent me flowers in Florida
“He is a man who cares deeply about the court as an institution, about the people who work there, but about people,” she said.
“Justice Thomas is the one justice in the building that literally knows every employee’s name, every one of them. . . . he is a man who cares deeply about the court as an institution, about the people who work there — about people.” – Justice Sotomayor pic.twitter.com/Pz4TKWeFi3

“He has a different vision than I do about how to help people and about their responsibilities to help themselves,” Sotomayor added, “Justice Thomas believes that every person can pull themselves up by their bootstraps.”
“I believe that some people can’t get to their bootstraps without help,” she said. “They need someone to help them lift their foot up so they can reach those bootstraps. That’s a very different philosophy of life, but I think we share a common understanding about people and kindness towards them.”
“That’s why I can be friends with him and still continue our daily battle,” she said.
Resistance Twitter quickly reached a slow rolling boil over Sotomayor’s remarks.
Justice Sotomayor praising Clarence Thomas shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. The entire Supreme Court sucks. It shouldn’t even exist.

I don't give one single shit that Justice Sotomayor is friends with Clarence Thomas. Ginni Thomas is neck-deep in January 6, and there's ZERO chance that her husband didn't know that. And yet, he refused to recuse himself from related cases.
Clarence Thomas. Must. Resign.

Justice Sotomayor calls Clarence Thomas a "friend."
Justice Ginsburg called Antonin Scalia a "friend."
Thomas was OK with overturning our govt to please Trump and Scalia was OK with overturning 200+ years of 2nd Amendment law to please the NRA.

Justice Sotomayor in defending Clarence Thomas is exactly the type of attitude on why our Country is in the mess it’s in. We keep excusing the bad, unethical behavior of the right as they actively plot to steal elections. #SCOTUS

What a fucking joke.

With all due respect Justice Sotomayor could have kept that to herself. If Clarence Thomas cared so deeply about the Supreme Court then he would stepped up and checked his wife's about her bizarre behavior and love for White Supremacists before it got out of hand, BUT HE DIDNT

Sotomayor’s high praise comes as the Democrat-stacked Pelosi committee is zeroing in on Ginni Thomas on the heels of a Washington Post report that she communicated with Trump campaign lawyer John Eastman, a key figure in the outlandish conspiracy theory that the ragtag band of January 6, 2021 protesters were capable of seizing control of the entire United States government.
Some Democrats sense an opportunity to give President Joe Biden an opening to put another left-wing extremist on the bench if Thomas can be forced out, including ethically-challenged, Somali-born, anti-Semitic Rep. Ilhan Omar who during a Friday appearance on MSNBC, called for the impeachment of “Justice Thompson” over the J6 committee’s framing of his wife.

While Sotomayor may have positive feelings for Justice Thomas, the knives are out and and the Democrats smell blood in the water as the J6 committee continues its Soviet-style proceedings.
