Gavin Newsom brags about joining ‘Truth Social’ to troll GOP, gets brutal reality check in return

California Governor Gavin Newsom took to Twitter to brag about joining former President Donald Trump’s social media site, Truth Social, to rip “Republican lies.” That didn’t exactly go down the way he had planned.

“I just joined Trump’s Truth Social. Going to be on there calling out Republican lies,” he tweeted. “This could get…interesting. My first post — breaking down America’s red state murder problem.”

“I know we’re all on this platform in search for the truth,” he claimed in his video. “But the truth is I’ve not been able to find a simple explanation for the fact that we have a red state murder problem.”

Perhaps he is trying to use the same tactic that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., employed, which led to her getting promptly rebuffed by Twitter users. She tried to claim that all of the deadliest cities were in Republican-run states, but failed to notice that most of the cities on the list were themselves run by Democrats.

  1. Ole Gavin is delusional. He rides in vehicles with blacked out windows so he can’t see the carnage on the streets of his state. It is just fricking amazing he is still in office. He needs to be following Gascon. It is amazing how people can walk or drive down the freeways and turn a blind eye to the homelessness, drugs and trash. I use to live in SD and it too is going down.

  7. Funny how Trump warned the country about a lawless society under a Joe Biden presidency. Just one of the many things he said would happen if Biden were elected..or rather manipulated into the White House. It was democrat run cities and their leaders that refused Trump’s offering to help them by sending in the National Guard when all the BLM and ANTIFA rioting, murdering and destruction was taking place. It was democrat leaders and THEIR constituents calling for the police and law enforcement to be defunded. It was and, still is, the George Soros hacks that he pretty much bought their ways into the leadership positions in these cities that continue to look the other way and let repeat thugs, rapists, murderers, etc back onto our streets to go kill and rape some more.

    And it sure as hell wasn’t Biden with nearly unanimous support from law enforcement across the country during the 2020 campaign. That was DJT sir!

    So, F&&K you, you sorry POS Gavin Newsome. If I were you, I’d be hiding and thanking your lucky stars that your recall didn’t go through despite it being very close considering how f-ed up your state is right now under your pathetic leadership. It infuriates me when these arrogant, narcissistic low life’s cause something and then think the people in this country are all stupid enough to believe that it was the other party who created the mess.
