A Texas rapper posted a music video on YouTube where he rhymed about robbing ATMs, having loads of cash in the car, and just “praying that [they] make it home.”
And they made it all the way there – the rapper and three of his buddies now call jail “home.”
The song was evidently a musical plan for the foursome to land some extra cash as they apparently acted out the lyrics and robbed a technician servicing a Bank of America machine last Monday in Dickson, Tenn., KIRO7 reported.
Nashville Police explained in a press release that “two of the defendants approached the victim from behind and told him not to do anything stupid and hand over the money.” Detectives were able to track down the rented Hyundai Elantra used as a getaway vehicle using helicopters.
Originally from Houston, the four arrestees include Sashondre Dugas, 32, Ladesion Riley, 30, Darius Dugas, 27 and Christopher Alton, 27, who are settling into their new “crib” behind bars.
Ladesion Riley, who reportedly raps under the pseudonym “213 Jugg god” on Youtube posted “Make it Home” on April 3 where he sings that he is the “Jug god.”
“Juggin” is a slang term used for committing crimes – like robbing ATMs – in order to get cash.
In the R&B tune, Riley sings about how he’s “n***a” who “specialize in burglarizin” and hit the road in 40 states with “$150k up in this car.”
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department posted photos of the bags stuffed with cash that they recovered from the alleged criminals on social media.
“Four persons from Texas are in custody for the 10:40 a.m. robbery of a man servicing a Bank of America ATM on Thompson Lake. The suspects were apprehended just after checking out of a Dickson, TN motel,” the post read.

“Investigation continues by MNPD, FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation – Memphis, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and Dickson Police,” law enforcement officials added.
The Houston Police Officers’ Union shamed the rapping ATM bandits on social media after their arrest.
“Don’t add this song to your roadrunning playlist,” union officials commented.

“Ladesion ‘Jugg god’ Riley jinxed the whole gang. Great job, again, Metropolitan Nashville Police Department,” the police union wrote. “We’re going to miss these four so much.”
“If you’re going to rap about it, then turn around and be about it and get caught, that’s on you,” said the president of the Houston Police Officer’s Union, Douglas Griffith, according to a report by KPRC-TV. “You shouldn’t do stupid crap, and you definitely shouldn’t violate the law and talk about it.”
The alleged thieves were not squeaky clean either and two had been arrested multiple times, and are currently out on bond for felony charges.
“Convicted felons doing their music videos with guns,” Griffith said incredulously. “How dumb is that? That right there is enough for them to get charged again.”
“They want to glorify the fact that they’re criminals,” the police union president said. “That saddens me because we have all of these kids watching this, and they’re glorifying it, and these kids look up to them. It’s dumb. These guys are dumb. They deserve to be tossed into jail just for being dumb.”
