After all of the overwrought media buildup, the Nancy Pelosi production of the January 6th Select Committee hearings opened on national television on Thursday night and it didn’t take long for the race card to be whipped out.
During his opening statement, Mississippi Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson who was picked by Madame Speaker to head up the grotesque spectacle, linked the protest at the U.S. Capitol which went badly awry, to lynching and slavery, despicable practices of a bygone era in history that cynical Democrats have shamelessly resurrected for political advantage in a modern America only six years removed from a black president who was not only elected but re-elected.
In the opening strains of a staged event that has been meticulously choreographed to the point where House Democrats hired a former ABC News executive to assist in crafting the Soviet-style show trial for maximum emotional impact, Thompson went for the jugular right off the bat.
“I’m from a part of the country where people justify the actions of slavery, the Ku Klux Klan, and lynching,” Thompson said. “I’m reminded of that dark history as I hear voices today trying to justify the actions of the insurrectionists on January 6th, 2021.”
“Over the next few weeks, hopefully, you will get to know the other members, my colleagues up here, and me, we represent a diversity of communities from all over the United States, rural areas and cities, East Coast, West Coast and the heartland,” he said.
“All of us have one thing in common. We swore the same oath. That same oath that all members of Congress take upon taking office, and afterwards, every two years that they are reelected. We swore an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” a hyperbole-drenched statement to hook the suckers early on in the proceedings.
Thompson’s race-baiting – the first, last and only resort of the Obama-Biden era Democratic party – drew many early reviews from Twitter users.

Thompson’s throwing down of the race card is pure red meat to the corrupt D.C. establishment and their leftist media stooges but desperate Democrats are risking overselling their product in an effort to hook their primetime audience.
It could badly boomerang on them by insulting the intelligence of curious swing voters who tuned in though.

The funny part is that it has nothing to do with Jan 6 of 2020 and everything to do with how the democrats treated the slaves in the past! Not the Republican s of the past!

Under oath, why again did Nancy Pelosi refuse to guard the capital with Trumps suggestion of the NATIONAL GUARD? Why wait until the shooting, then build a wall, house our boys in parking garages, with one bathroom, and feed the men tainted food, in the middles of freezing cold winter? Theatre. Her mind was on Paul Pelosi’s killer Porsche and all that insider trader that has made her very rich, and make Donald Trump look bad, and Joe Biden look like a battered victim.
All the past events cited by Thompson were the product of democrat sponsored KKK. The democrats promoted slavery and later segregation. Their KKK was responsible for lynching, church burnings and other violence. Like the current generation of democrat terrorists, the Antifa, they all wore masks like the cowards they were and are!!
I won’t watch the J6 hearings because, what Trump is being accused of, Biden also did more explicitly when he had his representative, Psaki, invite demonstrators to break Federal law by demonstrating in front of the Justices’ homes, and when he invited the migrants to come to this country while he was campaigning before the nomination. I blame this whole mess on Harry Reid who started it with his “my way or the highway” policy 20 years ago.
Thompson, unfortunately, sees race as the underlying factor in everything. You must have to be a racist to think like that.
