Newsmax host Greg Kelly so disgusted by sexualized drag show for kids he reports child abuse to Dallas police

Newsmax host Greg Kelly was so disgusted and alarmed by a video showing children attending a “Drag the Kids to Pride” event that he called the North Texas Crime Commission and reported it as child abuse.

Originally, Kelly claimed to have “called Dallas police.” Mediaite alleges based on his recording that he actually called an organization operated by the North Texas Crime Stoppers program, which “pays rewards for anonymous tips and forwards that information to the appropriate law enforcement agency.”

The event was held at a Dallas bar called Mr. Misster that promoted a “family-friendly” atmosphere on Saturday at an event that featured numerous drag queens and the slogan, “It’s not gonna lick itself!”

Kelly tweeted, “TODAY I CALLED THE DALLAS POLICE TO REPORT THE CRIME OF CHILD ABUSE AT THAT HIDEOUS ‘DRAG THE KIDS TO PRIDE’ event. This must be investigated and the offenders PROSECUTED!!!”

“Uh, hello. This is Greg Kelly. I’m a concerned citizen. I live in New York, but I saw a horrible video. It’s gone viral, very easy to find online. Dancing transvestites with young children. It happened in the heart of Dallas. It seemed like it was incredibly inappropriate, probably criminal. I’m sure somebody’s breaking the law,” Kelly said in his message.

“You guys need to find this video. You can, uh, you can call me. My number is [REDACTED]. And I’ll help you find it online, and somebody’s gotta do something about this. Thank you. Again, my name is Greg Kelly. You can call me at [REDACTED] Thank you to the Dallas Police Department,” he concluded.

“This is bachelor party stuff for people in their 20s,” Kelly remarked during his show. “If that.”

“During the event, drag performers danced and walked down the aisle in the center of the room. At times, the dancers would take dollar bills from some of the children,” WFAA in Dallas reported concerning the raunchy gettogether. “Kids also walked with the dancers down the aisle during the event.”

The organizers called it a family-friendly spin-off of their Champagne Drag Brunch that had kids dancing with drag queens on stage.

As videos went viral over the degraded event, demonstrators who were outraged that children were being exposed to drag queens and their attendant behavior gathered outside to protest.

One protester named Dasy saw the poster for the event near where she lives. She went to the bar after the event with a “Stop Grooming the Kids” poster.

“I live in this community,” she told WFAA. “I have for several years. I don’t believe that I should be seeing signs advertising for children to be dancing on stage with men in thongs and in inappropriate clothing and makeup. I do not in any way condone the behavior that these people are engaging in, but what drags me out here is it’s kids now.”

The bar released a statement after the event, saying: “We host our Champagne Drag Brunch every Saturday at 2 pm for guests that are 21+ but we have partnered with some of our major community partners to host a special Pride Drag Brunch for all guests, including guests that couldn’t normally attend our regular show because of the drinking age restriction, to raise money for a local LGBTQ+ youth organization.”

“We are more than happy to open our doors to celebrate Pride in a family-friendly, safe environment, separate from our normal operations of 2 p.m. – 2 a.m. on Saturdays because we believe that everyone should have a space to be able to celebrate who they are. Mr. Misster is a place where everyone is welcome to feel accepted, safe, and included,” the statement continued.

“We had a group of protestors outside yelling homophobic threats, transphobic remarks, and vile accusations at these children and parents. It is so sad to see that in 2022, there are people that still want to protest others celebrating who they are, but our staff and wonderful officers helped keep us safe and kept the protestors at bay,” it added.

One of the groups protesting the event on Saturday was Protect Texas Kids.

“We decided to organize this protest when we saw advertising for the event a few weeks ago – we researched the bar and quickly found out that it’s a gay bar, and we were also pretty concerned when we saw the signage on the bar’s website that says ‘it’s not gonna lick itself.’ We just launched our organization and this was our first event,” the organization said in a statement.

“The mission was to raise awareness that an event like this, a drag show for children, was happening right in Dallas. We also hoped that if we raised awareness, the event might be canceled or modified so that children couldn’t be present,” the group declared.

“We were very happy with how the event went overall. The police were able to come in and remove all of the children and their families from inside of the bar. There were a lot of people in attendance who didn’t have kids, so those people were able to stay and the event continued,” the statement concluded.

WFAA claimed that the Dallas Police Department said officers showed up to “assist with crowd control” and help the crowd “disperse in a safe manner,” not remove children and families from the event.

Meanwhile, Texas state Rep. Bryan Slaton has pledged to introduce legislation to protect children from being exposed to drag queen performances, according to TheBlaze.

“The events of this past weekend were horrifying and show a disturbing trend in which perverted adults are obsessed with sexualizing young children. As a father of two young children, I would never take my children to a drag show and I know [Texas House] Speaker Dade Phelan and the rest of my Republican colleagues wouldn’t either. Protecting our own children isn’t enough, and our responsibility as lawmakers extends to the sexualization that is happening across Texas,” Slaton stated.

“I promised my voters that I would stand up for their values and fight to protect Texas kids. I was re-elected on that promise and I intend to keep it by authoring legislation to defend kids from being subjected to drag shows and other inappropriate events. I look forward to working with my colleagues to pass this important legislation,” he said.

  7. All our current maladies are essentially societal rot caused by Democratic ideology which, like the disease of alcoholism, has become progressively worse over the last fifty years.
    First, there was the left’s constant push to “Secularize” society and demonize Christianity and organized Religion. I.E. in 1966, Time magazine’s infamous cover, “Is God Dead?”. Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” began the dismantling of the traditional family as they monetized single parenthood and created our hidden “welfare state”. Children born out of wedlock have gone from 25% to almost 70% in black households today. At about the same time, the sexual revolution and women’s lib began; basically promoting promiscuity and further corrupting our moral foundation. Ditto, the rise of Planned Parenthood and our abortion culture. More recently traditional male roles have been deemed “toxic masculinity” and, of course, Homosexuality and Transvestites are lionized. The internet, free porn and the legitimizing of every kind of sexual perversion are celebrated, and all are unhealthily addicted to social media. The left champions everything I have mentioned. The government has been taken over by leftist ideologues and now all the three letter agencies (the IRS, the CIA, the FBI, the DOJ and even the DOD) have been weaponized against the opposition. Culture and values have been so corrupted that it seems that there is no collective will to resist. Is it any wonder that we have a sick, narcissistic society that results in the highest rates of depression, drug addiction, suicide and violence that we have ever seen? I don’t know if there is a way back from this level of cultural degradation.

    One really has to question the motives of any who would bring their child to such an event, as this is a blatant attempt to groom children!

  9. Why is it permissible to have a BAR (serving alcohol no less) full of children in TX.? I know of no other state/locale where that is permissible and I live in LAS VEGAS!! Children in restaurants which serve alcohol are perfectly legal nearly everywhere but I’ve never known of a BAR receiving the same latitude. There’s no telling what you’ll find when you enter the doors of a bar but I’ll suggest that “a room full of children” doesn’t rank anywhere near the top 100 and certainly wouldn’t be an answer on the board of Family Feud.

  12. This IS disgusting! Glad he reported it because it is abuse.
    And if you think so too, you may want to cancel your ***Discovery +*** subscription too.
    Here’s why. They have, at least, 2 new programs coming out in their lineup. One is about ‘QUEERS’, their word, and how its all ok. The other is about ***Drag Queen Kids***, and yes I’m talking about children here. Not older teens, over the age of 18, but little kids!!!
    This is unacceptable! And I find myself asking what the heck is wrong with the parents that they go along with this unadulterated CRAP! Makes me think they just might have a desire to experience children in other sexual ways and this, these kinds of programs, are a means to meet children and, perhaps, groom them.

  13. Why is everyone blaming the gun? (The drag queens). WhyTF are PARENTS bringing their kids to this BS??!
    Honest to God, I sound like my parents, but THIS BS wouldn’t have happened 50 years ago!!! Or even MAYBE 5 or 10 years ago! This ‘Go Woke, Go Broke’ BS IS BS! IF it were true, companies like Pizza Hut, State Farm, SALVATION ARMY etc wouldn’t even THINK of promoting these kinds of things. HowTF do these things just pop up out of nowhere? There’s been drag shows for years. But NEVER for kids! Because there USED to be… PARENTS!!!!
