Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Democrat, is again under fire for running her mouth — or, rather, her fingers — and offending Christian conservatives and gun owners in one fell swoop.

Late last week, The Recount posted a video to Twitter of Rep. Ken Buck, a Republican, defending AR-15s by noting that they’re the “gun of choice for killing raccoons before they get to our chickens.”

Omar responded to the video by tweeting the following: “Jesus Christ, Republicans will literally say anything to keep the NRA blood money flowing in.”

Notice the use of the words “Jesus Christ.”

As of Sunday, the tweet boasted only 5,900 likes, a paltry number for a woman with three million followers.

The replies meanwhile contained plenty of support from her fellow Democrats, but also plenty of anger and derision from Republicans, particularly Christian Republicans. Because Omar is a Muslim, they found her use of the words “Jesus Christ” offensive.

Look:

Some Republican critics decided to give Omar a taste of her own medicine by turning her religious disrespect and twisted logic right back at her.

Look:

“Didnt you and the Squad literally vote to fund the Ukraine Russia war with billions of dollars?” one of the critics asked.

Omar and the rest of the Democrat Party’s far-left “squad” did indeed vote to send billions of dollars in aid, including weapons, to Ukraine.

In fact, every single Democrat voted for the aid package:

Omar isn’t the only one who’s complained about Buck’s remarks. The establishment media is brimming with “reports” from Newsweek, Boing Boing, HuffPost, Rolling Stone, etc., all either complaining about or mocking the congressman.

Rep. Eric Swalwell has also gotten in on the trash-talking.

“Oh—Why didn’t y’all just say so? We have to protect the chickens from the raccoons. Cool cool. So that’s why our kids have to die in their classrooms. So we can protect the chickens. Makes total sense now,” he sarcastically tweeted on Friday.

Actually, AR-15s are used to kill far more than just raccoons. A piece published six years ago by Time magazine, an establishment outlet, pointed to seven animals that are frequently killed by hunters armed with an AR-15 rifle.

“In interviews … leaders of 15 state shooting groups said semiautomatic rifles are popular with hunters in their states. Hunters say they favor the gun for its versatility, accuracy and customizable features for shooting animals. The semiautomatic feature, which allows these guns to shoot up to 45 rounds a minute, is not always necessary, but useful in some situations, hunters say,” Time reported.

Swalwell is also facing blowback for his own questionable tweet:
