With the nation soon to be subjected to the shameful spectacle of televised hearings by Nancy Pelosi’s sham committee to investigate the January 6, 2021 chaos at the U.S. Capitol, there is a real insurrection brewing as leftists have a battle plan to shut down the Supreme Court over the potential overturn of Roe v. Wade.
A far-left activist group has announced that it will be taking direct action against the nation’s highest court on June 13th when it will mobilize to block traffic with the objective being to paralyze the court by preventing justices and their staffers from being able to get to their chambers on a day when opinions could be handed down, possibly a ruling that may strike down the landmark abortion law.
“The #SupremeCourt represents an unelected, extremist minority. They’re coming for our rights, our bodies, even our lives. We say hell no. On June 13, we’re going to #ShutDownSCOTUS,” the group ShutDownDC posted to Twitter last week along with an invitation to join a Zoom planning call for what, according to the Democrat definition of the term, could be defined as an insurrection.

Leftist fury at the SCOTUS has been building since the unprecedented leak of a draft opinion penned by conservative Justice Samuel Alito indicating that Roe v. Wade may be overturned, triggering angry protests that included mobs invading the neighborhoods of justices to menace them and their families while they were in their homes. The White House not only refused to denounce the lynch mob mentality but actually seemed to encourage it despite the harassment of judges being clearly against the law.
“We are in a crisis of democracy,” the group’s website claims. “Following decades of organizing by the far right, conservatives now hold a majority on the Supreme Court, and a group of five justices can roll back critical rights and protections that should be settled law. At the same time, the filibuster has left the Senate gridlocked and unable to pass legislation to protect our rights or enact the programs our communities need.”
“Right now our political system is in crisis. Times of crisis can either be opportunities to break through the inertia and win transformational change or they can be opportunities for the establishment to further entrench the status quo,” ShutDownDC said in its statement of intent. “On June 13, one of the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision days, we plan to blockade the streets around the Supreme Court to rise up for the transformative change that our communities need.”
The Washington Free Beacon which monitored one of the group’s planning sessions reported that “#ShutdownDC is planning to block streets adjoining the Court to prevent the justices and their staff from reaching their chambers. Organizers acknowledged their operations go beyond constitutionally protected activity, and they referenced the likelihood of arrests and clashes with law enforcement during a Tuesday night briefing the Free Beacon monitored.”
“The Tuesday night briefing included more than 60 activists and was led by four or five organizers, some of whom concealed their identities. The presentation included a detailed ‘tactical’ plan for blocking access to the Court’s underground parking garage, which is the primary entry and exit point for employees and justices,” the outlet reported. “The plan calls for demonstrators to obstruct two points near the Court on 2nd Street, and a third spot on A St., which bisects 2nd Street directly behind the Court building. A Street is a residential area, while 2nd Street is a busy commuter thoroughfare.”

The Department of Homeland Security recently released a memo to state and local law enforcement entities warning of the potential of violence.
Titled “Potential for Threats to Public Safety in Response to Abortion Debate,” the DHS memo stated, “The volume of violent threats targeting Supreme Court Justices, members of Congress, other public officials, clergy, healthcare officials and providers, and others associated with the abortion debate are likely to persist and may increase leading up to and following the issuing of the Court’s official ruling,” according to CBS News.
ShutDownDC was behind that mob that marched on Alito’s residence earlier this month.
If violence does break out during the attempted shutting down of the Supreme Court, the entire federal law enforcement apparatus won’t likely be mobilized to hunt down and imprison those who were in the vicinity nor will a select committee be put together by Democrat leaders to conduct nationally televised show trials.
