Va. middle school librarian justifies pro-prostitution book because many students ‘do sex work’: report

The woke culture pervasive throughout government-run schools set another benchmark in insanity in Northern Virginia after a librarian defended the “validation” garnered from one questionable book for students who may have confessed to being sexually abused.

The Loudon County Public School (LCPS) district has become something of a household name nationwide for repeatedly being at the center of controversy while conforming to the demands of the LGBTQ movement. Their promotion of equity that involved the coverup of a rape involving a teenage boy claiming to be a girl may now be revealing other victims throughout the community.

A new report from the Daily Wire explained that a teacher at Sterling Middle School reported the librarian, Stefany Guido, to the police after she confided that a book promoting prostitution was beneficial to the students because there are kids aged 11- to 13-years-old enrolled there who “do sex work” and the content affirms their lifestyle.

 

The teacher explained how Guido, “started talking about how there’s kids who come to the library who do sex work, and this makes them feel validated. As a teacher, if you get an individual student coming to you because you’re abused, you have to go to the police immediately.”

Guido was first confronted on the matter when the teacher noticed that the book “Seeing Gender” by Iris Gottlieb had been flagged on Twitter by parents. Within the chapter, “‘Sex Work’ Is Not a Bad Term” the author wrote, “A person my exchange sex or sexual activity for things they need or want, such as food, housing, hormones, drugs, gifts, or other resources,” and further describes prostitution as “a job like being a store clerk, an architect, or a freelance writer…Sadly, sex work is generally misunderstood.”

The teacher further described her confrontation with Guido where she asked “what happens if a sixth grader checks it out?” as the book had been marked for eighth graders. Her reply, “I have a conversation with them about it.”

“This is like a textbook for how to do this, including selling your body for hormone replacement therapy,” the teacher explained in her retelling of the conversation to police. To that, Guido responded, “There’s no pornography in it so it doesn’t matter.”

The Daily Wire reached out to comment from Guido “on whether she had reported any knowledge she may have about child prostitution to the police” and at the time of this posting had not received a return. However, they did explain that the librarian had canvassed for votes for a transgender Democrat political candidate in 2017 where she explained, “I felt like I was actually making an impact in politics – which has always felt impenetrable in the past. It was so rewarding to get to go out and interact with other voters in a positive way.”

Lisa Buffi, the school’s other librarian, has actively promoted “LGBTQ+ Books” for children, creating a a 17-page list for students to peruse.

  1. Is this some kind of new fundraiser? In all seriousness, and nothing could be more serious, this is what our country(parts thereof) look like these days!

    Not only does this teacher have a duty to report such things, her failure to do so and her explanation of “norming” it amounts to grooming.

  2. That wacko librarian is ignorant of the law. She acts as if the sex working kids are on par with kids selling candy bars for the student council. I only know how Texas works, but apparently, Loudon County is on another planet. If a child in Texas were to tell an adult on the school campus that they are a sex worker, the adult, as a MANDATED REPORTER would be compelled to file an incident report to Child Protective Services because a child cannot consent to sex, and there are child labor laws (duh). If the adult fails to report they may lose their position and their licenses and certificates. The school counselor would need to be contacted and the Principal and Assistant Principal as well. They would need to convene a parent meeting asap. In addition, the Principal might be compelled to contact the police because an adult or a group of adults are sexually abusing minors, breaking some serious laws. This woke stuff needs to get a lot of people fired and any complicit, grooming adults should be prosecuted.

  3. If she knows about any child doing sex work, she has a legal obligation to report it to child protective services. I hope she gets fired, loses her certification, and arrested.

  4. Behind every child that thinks they are LBGBTQ****** there is an adult sexual predator telling the child that is what the kid is.

These books attacking families thru queer ideology are meant to be viewed by Amerlican allies to create doubt and discontentment viewing the United States as a world superpower by International Communist Plan. Do you think Davos, WEF, WHO will exist if China, Russia, North Korea negotiate with Japan, Turkey, India, Mexico, Africa? No! America is no longer a moral nation and military morale and enlistment is at an all time low. YOU WANT TO DISARM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE NOW? ARE YOU STUPID? AMERICANS NEED TO TRAIN WITH BIGGER GUNS AT LOCAL SHERIFF’S OFFICE OR POLICE ASSOCIATION WITHOUT FEAR OF RETRIBUTION, SPYING, BLACKLISTING!
