Fla. Dem steps on HUGE rake while ranting about DeSantis appearing with David Rubin in ‘#LGBTQ+ friendly’ area

Florida State Rep. Anna Eskamani (D) lost her cool over a venue in Orlando that was slated to host Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and conservative political commentator David Rubin – but there was just one small detail she missed.

In denouncing the pair up, she wrote on social media, “Wow. Super disappointed to see The Plaza Live hosting an event w/DeSantis next week — this is literally in one of the most #LBGTQ+ friendly parts of Orlando and during Pride Month too.”

“Orlandoans deserve better than this culture war BS,” she added.

It seems as though she was upset that two conservatives would have the audacity to make a public appearance in an “LGBTQ+ friendly” area.


For good measure, she added  a second tweet to clarify how “awful” Dave Rubin is, referencing a tweet from Rubin where he commented on New York state’s change to drivers licenses, granting people the right to elect their gender to be an “X”  instead of “male” or “female.”

There was only one problem with Eskamani’s political shaming and DeSantis’ press secretary Christina Pushaw was sure to point it out to the liberal politician:

Rubin is gay.

“Anna, @RubinReport is a member of the LGBTQ+ community,” Pushaw wrote. “Bad look for you to be gatekeeping.”


Oops, and he’s married too. To a man.


It seems that Rubin doesn’t fit into the stereotypical conservative mold that Eskamani thought he should. Rubin confirmed that not only is he married, “but this picture was at noted white supremacists @RealCandaceO’s wedding!”

“I’m sure she’d be happy to sit down with @AnnaForFlorida too!” he added.

Pulling from the liberal playbook, Eskamani responded by calling names.

“Sounds like a grifter to me,” she tweeted.


Obviously willing to look past the bigoted and homophobic comments from the leftist and show her what it means to be the bigger person, he extended an invite to Eskamani to come to watch the show.

Even after Eskamani’s homophobic attacks, he reiterated that his offer still stood.

She couldn’t graciously accept or decline the invite, instead, she demanded to be put on stage to debate the two conservatives.


Pushaw called her out by noting, “Narcissistic much? People bought tickets to see @RonDeSantisFL and @RubinReport, not Anna Eskamani.”

To which Eskamani replied, “Huh. Someone seems scared to debate me.”


No, Anna, that’s not the problem.

Rubin repeated his invite a third time and clarified that he would be more than willing to debate her at another venue in the future.

“lol how ridiculous @AnnaForFlorida. 1K people bought tickets to see me and the governor. I am not giving you a second of that time,” Rubin wrote. “I invited you to see what freedom liberty and Florida are truly all about. I’ll gladly debate you at another venue in the future.”

These sanctimonious narcissists always seem to find a way to be heard rather than being pointed at, mocked, and ridiculed until they retreat back to their caves.

  7. This USED to be a great site! With the comment section obviously controlled by NO ONE and allowing SPAM to dominate, I’ve been tempted more and more to ABANDON this crap. Not sure how many others feel the same but TODAY and THIS POST begins a WEEK of NOT CLICKING ThIS SITE!! Maybe if others will join the “WEEK OFF” it might get some attention.   10. That awkward moment when you realize that “LGBTQ+ friendly” is an extremely ambiguous term. Which is why so many of us in the Church are divided over Fr. James Martin, to give an example. The best part of weaponized ambiguity is, once the other guy (us) is in on the trick, he can shove on the other end. That’s the only good thing about this weird scuffle I wasted my time reading about.
    So saying, I’m not with Mr. Ruben on his relationship choices. In my view, they’re not good for conservatism, since the principles that justify them only lead back to the things he and DeSantis agree on opposing.

  11. DeSantis is a Great Covernor and he loves his State and People. I just wish we had more Governor’s just like him. Most of them are Whimpy and scared of Beijing Joe. As for the Loud Mouth she is going to have to answer to God for her action’s. I was raised you are to be with a Man if you are a Woman and if your a Woman to be with a Man. I don’t think God approves of all this Trans, Gay, Lisbo’s and God only knows what else is out there. I do know when the Great Awakening comes which Trump is saying soon. God will take care of all the Mess that is going on expecially the Pedophile’s. In Leviticus 20:13 says, “If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death.” Many justify same-sex marriages because a law says it is legal to do, but this doesn’t mean God approves of it. Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you.

We used to call the liberal stance “White Man’s Burden.”

    1. She probably can’t, but I can offer a theory for you. They don’t see agency and responsibility as matters of the individual. “Structural racism” means something to them: the institutions we take for granted aren’t racially neutral, and actually promote “white privilege”. This view of agency also lets them lump everybody they have problems with under the “bad guy” banner and stop thinking any harder about the truly important differences. Which is why name-calling is enough for them.

What Florida is doing is keeping sex talk out of the school classrooms for little ones, and that’s all sex talk folks, gay or straight. No teacher should be telling students about their sex life, especially to kindergartners. And this democrat is showing her prejudice and hatred, funny how Dems spew more hate then anyone.
