Former National Intelligence Director Richard Grenell joined other conservatives who are furious over how the complicit media is carrying a torch for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton after she leaked false Russian collusion accusations against former President Donald Trump.
Grenell tweeted, “[email protected] worked with the @FBI to push a fake Russian collusion accusation against President Trump – and @maggieNYT got a Pulitzer for the fake story. Newsrooms now won’t report on the story.”
He also previously tweeted concerning New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman’s reporting on the Russia hoax, “Those phony Pulitzer Prize winners for a fake Russian collusion story certainly are quiet about working with Hillary and the FBI to dupe America. They don’t know how much they are being mocked outside their bubble. @maggieNYT.”
In 2018, Haberman’s reporting on the Trump administration earned her a Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting. She has not offered to return the prize since the charges against Trump have been proven false.

Most newsrooms shunned the story like it was the proverbial plague, but the Wall Street Journal was not one of them.
The Wall Street Journal was extremely blunt in its assessment of Clinton, “The Russia-Trump collusion narrative of 2016 and beyond was a dirty trick for the ages, and now we know it came from the top—candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton. That was the testimony Friday by 2016 Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook in federal court, and while this news is hardly a surprise, it’s still bracing to find her fingerprints on the political weapon.”
“Most of the press will ignore this news, but the Russia-Trump narrative that Mrs. Clinton sanctioned did enormous harm to the country. It disgraced the FBI, humiliated the press, and sent the country on a three-year investigation to nowhere. Vladimir Putin never came close to doing as much disinformation damage,” the media outlet continued.

Reaction poured in over the media’s lack of integrity when it comes to Clinton’s involvement in pushing the false Russian collusion narrative.
Inquire writer Shant Mesrobian tweeted, “I think it’s funny how the media’s coverage of every Russiagate development is carefully designed to never communicate to the casual news consumer the basic fact that the entire thing was fake.”

Former White House Special Assistant to the President Steven Cheung also took the media to the woodshed over its complicity concerning Hillary Clinton’s dishonesty and skullduggery, tweeting, “Media outlets like @politico are still trying to carry Crooked Hillary’s water. Look at the headline. Totally burying the lede. The main point is that Mook outed Clinton green lighting the fake story. It’s buried deep into the story, after the reporters defend Clinton’s role.”
