Biden hands American sovereignty over to WHO – right under our noses

Biden allegedly plotting to hand U.S. sovereignty over to the China-influenced World Health Organization

Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.), who is a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, spoke with Fox News host Laura Ingraham concerning the Biden administration’s alleged plan to hand the sovereignty of the United States over to the World Health Organization (WHO).

“Chris, when I first saw this I thought, ‘Oh, this is just some kind of a wonky thing. WHO? What does this really mean? Sovereignty.’ This is critically important,” Ingraham said in the opening of the segment of the “Ingraham Angle” Thursday.

“You know this is a situation where there are regulations with WHO that go back to 2005 and they equally gave nation-states like the United States the ability to collaborate and not a unilateral power. Well, under this Biden regulation… I have it right here… a series of amendments begins on May 22 at the World Health Assembly, WHO. They will get rid of that. They strike lines through the language where the states, the countries, have to agree,” Smith revealed.

“They also, and you know when it comes to the issue of enforcement, what are we gonna do in response. If a country like the United States says we don’t think we have this health emergency you’re saying, we have 48 hours to give an accounting to the World Health Organization and Dr. Tedros, I’ve known him for years. He used to be the health minister for Ethiopia. He did an awful job there. He covered up a lot of things,” he continued.

“He got his job from Xi Jinping. The Chinese Communist Party put him in that position of being Director-General. They lobbied. They provided a lot of money for the effort and so when COVID hit, he dutifully put out false information and as you said, we still don’t have the WHO coming clean on the origins,” Smith added.

“I actually have an amendment that failed in committee, real quick, that would have provided the ability of individuals who have been hurt by COVID in the United States to sue. I offered it as an amendment and it lost on a party-line vote. It would be like what we did with Saudi Arabia, you know, with 9/11. And they didn’t want… and it would get our people into court waiving foreign immunities in order to sue,” he said.

“We’ve got a lot of people in both Houses that are pretty pro-China in many ways. Republicans and Democrats,” Ingraham noted.

She then played a clip of Tedros speaking about the sharing of data.

“There’s a dual-track now. They want a treaty. This treaty would have to be ratified by the Senate so that gives us some checks and balances. But the other way around it, the end to get this big power-grab is to change the WHO regulations, the health regulations. And in days, without any scrutiny, and I’m glad you’re asking the hard questions, the administration will be arguing, and this is all of the changes they wanna make to the World Health Organization and our sovereignty will be greatly undermined,” Smith charged.

Ingraham ended off by alluding to the fact that this is a “run on nationhood period.”

On Wednesday, Smith issued a statement on President Joe Biden’s interaction with the World Health Organization.

“The Biden Administration’s absurd proposal to surrender U.S. sovereignty to the corrupt World Health Organization (WHO) is an egregious breach of constitutional principle that will lead to less accountability and more misconduct by this problematic UN agency,” the statement began. “This never would have happened under President Trump’s watch.”

“At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, WHO caved to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and enabled China to hoodwink the world by providing tremendous cover to the CCP’s deadly lie that the coronavirus was not transmissible from person to person, even after being informed of the truth by Taiwan,” Smith stated.

“Instead of demanding accountability from the WHO and its Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus for their complicity in the spread of COVID, as I argued two years ago, the Biden Administration seeks to turn over American sovereignty and decision-making, potentially subjecting us to the CCP’s ongoing malign influence,” he asserted.

“The alarming amendments offered by the Biden Administration to the WHO’s International Health Regulations would grant new unilateral authority to Director-General Tedros to declare a public health crisis in the United States or other sovereign nations, without any consultation with the U.S. or any other WHO member,” Smtih charged.

“Specifically, the Biden Amendment would strike the current regulation that requires the WHO to ‘consult with and attempt to obtain verification from the State Party in whose territory the event is allegedly occurring in,’ ceding the United States’ ability to declare and respond to an infectious disease outbreak within the United States dependent on the judgment of a corrupt and complicit UN bureaucracy,” he remarked.

“Now more than ever, our constitutional system of American government must be protected from those seeking to override the voice of the people and consent of the governed in favor of dictates by an agenda-driven global administrative bureaucracy,” Smith concluded.
