Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, in an attempt to take a humanitarian high ground to slam Republicans concerned about dwindling baby formula supplies being sent to the U.S.-Mexico border, only further proved Democrats’ feigned compassion utilizes minority groups as disposable pawns to maintain their power.
With disruption in the supply chain, a recall from one of the largest formula providers, and panic buying from overstressed parents struggling to keep their babies fed, the shortage of baby formula has only worsened as President Joe Biden has appeared to take little action to alleviate concerns or resolve the crisis. Instead, as alleged by Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.), the administration has been sending pallets of formula to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) processing centers.
Gov. Greg Abbott (R-Texas) issued a joint statement with National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) President Brandon Judd over their concerns about the inappropriate allocation of resources, and Clinton saw this as her chance to pounce on Republicans as hypocritical xenophobes.
The Republican, "pro-life" position is now that certain babies should starve. https://t.co/298zHaEESX

“The Republican, ‘pro-life’ position is now that certain babies should starve,” she wrote haughtily while taking a shot at the conservative opposition to abortion. As usual, the pompous condescension failed to address the problem at hand, acknowledge the compounding factors that led to it, and misrepresented the position of Republicans.
First, there is the matter of what Abbott and Judd actually said. “Children are our most vulnerable, precious Texans and deserve to be put first,” they wrote. “Yet, President Biden has turned a blind eye to parents across America who are facing the nightmare of a nationwide baby formula shortage.”
“While mothers and fathers stare at empty grocery store shelves in a panic, the Biden Administration is happy to provide baby formula to illegal immigrants coming across our southern border. This is yet another one in a long line of reckless, out-of-touch priorities from the Biden Administration when it comes to securing our border and protecting Americans,” the statement continued. “Our children deserve a president who puts their needs and survival first – not one who gives critical supplies to illegal immigrants before the very people he took an oath to serve.”
The governor is pointing out his and the president’s primary responsibility of representing their constituents ahead of addressing the concerns of allied nations. There is also the matter of the hypocrisy from the Democrats who have pointed out the need to follow the law as set forth by the Flores Settlement Agreement which requires illegal immigrants be provided with food.
In a statement, CPB noted they were abiding by the law, “Ensuring migrants, including children and infants, in our custody have their basic needs met is in line with this Administration’s commitment to ensuring safe, orderly, and humane processes at our border. CBP complies with all applicable regulations for the purchase of products used in CBP facilities.”
However, the administration has continually failed to follow the laws regarding our nation’s sovereignty and have allowed the border crisis to grow so out of hand that it has only exacerbated the supply chain disruptions more.
Further, Clinton failed to see the reality that the baby formula shortages are disproportionately impacting minority communities in the United States and, so it appears, if anyone is suggesting that “certain babies should starve” it would be her.
We missed the memo. What you refer to as "brown" babies are no longer born to Americans? According to this AP story, the baby formula shortage is hitting low income Americans (of all colors) the hardest.

Illegals recklessly abandon their children to strangers in dangerous conditions. We rescue/care for them. Open border crowd silent.
We point out Biden-caused situation where thousands in custody need baby formula while Americans suffer shortages. Same crowd-completely enraged.
