Psaki dismisses SCOTUS home mobs, claims GOP is circulating her address, she gets plenty death threats

The White House continues to downplay the seriousness of the mob intimidation of conservative Supreme Court members in their homes and, once again, Jen Psaki shrugged off the threats to the safety of the judges and their families.

The outgoing press secretary made a mockery out of a dangerous situation that threatens the ability of the nation’s highest court to function as an institution in the aftermath of an unprecedented leaking of a draft opinion to the media which Democrats insist means the end of Roe v. Wade.

President Joe Biden’s top spinmeister amiably chatted with reporters at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast on Thursday and was dismissive of the swarming of neighborhoods where the justices live by activists with the clear objective to coerce one or more of the five conservatives to change their vote on a ruling that has yet to be formally announced.

Psaki claimed that she and her kids have been the target of threats and that Republicans have been circulating her home address.

“Have you had any death threats?” Linda Feldman of the Christian Science Monitor asked.

“Oh, sure, yes, I’ve had threats, people coming to my house,” Psaki replied before correcting herself, “people… not coming to my house, but people threatening to come to my house.”

“Letters, texts and, I don’t… I’m not saying I’m the first, this is common and that is what should be alarming to people, “she continued, “but it is a real part of this, and it is a sign of the venom that we see out there in society.”

Feldman followed up, “I mean stuff that was actionable so Secret Service would have to look into it or…?”

Psaki responded, “You know, there have been cases where I’ve had to share information with them, and I certainly have shared information with them, but it will,  what I will also say because I think this is very important, you know, an important part of our discourse, you know, it is part of my job, as I did yesterday and will do again today, to go out there and be critical of Senator Scott’s tax plan, right?” Raise taxes on 75 million Americans.”

“Do I have personal venom against Senator Scott? I do not. Right?” Psaki asked, referring to Republican Senator Rick Scott of Florida.

“And I have had, before this job, between jobs, I was a CNN commentator,” she added. “I sat on, I sat next to Rick Santorum, who I vehemently disagree with about basically everything but you know what? I didn’t treat him with disrespect in person, he did not treat me with disrespect in person.”

“There are people like David Urban and Tony Sayegh who worked in the Trump administration, again, vehemently disagree,” she said. “Would they be outside of my house threatening my children? They would not be, and I would not be there either, and I think this is just an important conversation to have because officials and elected people, and people in public life, should not feel that way.”

Feldman persisted, “But you haven’t had people outside of your house, literally?”

“Not yet,” Psaki replied. “There is a circulation of my address among the Arlington Republican Party right now, so there you go,” completely blowing off the hordes of unhinged leftists who are actually on the streets in front of the homes of the conservative justices right now.

Earlier this week, Psaki suggested that President Biden was encouraging the protest action against the justices, three of them appointees of former President Donald J. Trump.

Psaki will take a final bow on Friday before giving way to new top flack, Karine Jean-Pierre who will assume the position behind the podium.

  1. She said they encouraged the protesters at Justice’s homes. Why shouldn’t they encourage protesters at her house? Double standards?

  2. It’s wrong that she’s getting death threats. Actions speak louder than words.

  3. Psaki, you getting death threats and emails has nothing to do with SCOTUS getting them. You are a worthless liar and a promoter of the violent revolution which is coming. You have no value to our country. SCOTUS is the protector of our constitution, which was created by very talented men.

  4. IF the GOP were ‘circulating’ her address it means noting until an uncontrolled hateful ranting mob shows up to threaten her.

  5. Claim “not yet” in other words, conservatives have scruples and wouldn’t act like leftist trash.

  6. If this is the only way you can advertise, you must not be doing very well at your business. Just another scammer.

  7. Newsflash to Psaki – she’s not a judge. If people are doing that to her, it’s wrong. But harassing a judge in an attempt to intimidate is a federal crime. Also, if it’s no big deal, why did this administration sic the FBI on parents?

  8. So it’s people just exercising their right to protest when they’re surrounding the homes of SCOTUS justices, but it’s “venom” when people send her letters and texts (how does one go about getting the cell # of someone in her position?) that just “threaten” to protest at her home?

    Typical democrat double standard much?
