Republicans in the House of Representatives overwhelmingly joined Democrats in voting for an additional $40 billion in aid to Ukraine on Tuesday with only 57 conservatives opposing the move as Americans suffer at home under crushing inflation and oppressive leftist policies.

Critics slammed Republicans for supporting the bill given multiple crises that Americans are facing at home including a failing supply chain, soaring gas and food prices, shortages, the border, abortion, and other issues. The final vote was 368 to 57 with 149 Republicans voting in favor of the bill.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene blasted the bill being passed when mothers can’t even find baby formula for their hungry children.

“Stop funding regime change & money laundering scams!” she declared in a passionate House floor speech. “The American ppl do not support paying for constant U.S. involvement in foreign affairs while our own gov fails our own country!”

Human Events host Jack Posobiec railed against the vote by Republicans on social media.

“We have unlimited money for bombs and abortions but we can’t even prevent incursions or feed our own babies. What happened to our great country?” he asked, incredulous.

“149 out of 211 House Republicans voted to send $40 Billion to Ukraine. 70% of elected the House GOP. The party of America First fiscal responsibility!” Posobiec sarcastically tweeted.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) was incensed over not even having enough time to read the bill that Republicans signed off on.

“Congress is jamming through ANOTHER massive spending bill that its members haven’t had time to read,” he railed.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) opposed the bill and tweeted: “I’m voting against tonight’s reckless $40B Ukraine spending bill. Pelosi rushed the bill to the House floor without hearings or time for members to adequately review the bill. I oppose Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but we can’t help Ukraine by spending money we don’t have.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) crowed over the passage of the massive aid package thanks to a lot of help from Republicans across the political aisle.

“Building on robust support already secured by Congress, this package will help Ukraine defend not only its nation but democracy for the world,” she asserted. “As Putin desperately accelerates his brutality in Ukraine, time is of the essence. This urgent package includes military aid, support for the Ukrainian economy, and humanitarian assistance for food security to address the worldwide hunger crisis stemming from Putin’s invasion.”

“With this aid package, America sends a resounding message to the world of our unwavering determination to stand with the courageous people of Ukraine until victory is won,” Pelosi bloviated.

She went on to praise the bill on Twitter saying that the package would build “on robust support already secured by Congress” and “help Ukraine defend not only its nation but democracy for the world.”

As the bill moves to the Senate, Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is vowing to “move swiftly” on the package but it is likely to face strong resistance there from conservatives.

The legislation includes $6 billion for security assistance which includes training, equipment, weapons, logistical support, supplies, and services for military and national security forces in Ukraine. It also includes $900 million for refugee support services such as housing, language classes, and trauma services for individuals fleeing Ukraine, according to The Hill.

Approximately $8.7 billion of the funds allotted in the legislation will go to the Economic Support Fund “to respond to emergent needs in Ukraine,” including budget support and countering human trafficking.

The package also allocates $4.365 billion to the US Agency for International Development for emergency food assistance given to individuals experiencing hunger due to the war.

Additionally, the legislation includes $8.7 billion to restock the US supply of equipment and allocates $11 billion to funding for the presidential drawdown authority.

  1. what about are boarders there pigolisi and fingering joe ?by the way where is tara ?fjb

  2. We are doomed. Vote these RINO’s out in their respective primaries. They are cowards.

  3. Ukraine was an area of approximately 1 million murders of Jews in WWII by the Nazis. Many local militias conspired with the Nazis. Ukraine isn’t exact-ly pure as the wind-driven snow…

    1. And the US army with the blessing of the government practiced at times genocide against Native Americans. That doesn’t make a country inherently evil- they can learn, evolve and grow to be a better nation. I believe Ukraine is struggling to do the same.

  4. My heart breaks for the Ukrainians. I have been with all of the help until now. When Biden only asks for 33 BB Billion and Congress has to throw in 7 more BB Billion of our taxed earnings- I am ticked. Helping out the Ukrainian refugees with language classes and emotional trauma services is so nice. BUT- what about all of the border babies in the USA who have been raped or traded? Abandoned in the desert, dropped off a 30 foot fence and do not speak English? Don’t you think charity starts at home? Nah- Biden has a blackmail claim over there and he wants to stick it to Texas. Just print more money. Madame Yellen will do it for you. Expand the IRS to be sure to squeeze every stinking penny out of the middle class.

    1. You said many things that deserve strong consideration. Help Ukraine but take care of our own country as well. Both can be done but some consideration is necessary.

  5. While I feel for the plight of ukraine I think EUROPE should take of its own back yard!!!
Twice before they didn’t and we ended up with WW I and II in which the U.S. had to sacrifice many of our own young men and lots of OUR MONEY to bail them out. And I might point out that europe, I am talking to you france and germany especially, treats the U.S. like sh*t.
I guarantee, if someone treats me that way in life, I won’t lift a finger to help them when it hits the fan.

    1. And what for you think the future would have been if the US hadn’t intervened in WWII? Would Hitler and Japan been content to just leave us alone? Their lust for power and control would soon be visiting our shores and I doubt we could have done much to stop them at that point.
If Russia and China see they can get away with aggression against other countries without opposition is it reasonable to think they will be content to just stop there? Neville Chamberlain thought so.

  6. These are all the people who are laundering money through Ukraine. They know their time is short before Putin succeeds n his plans then they will need another place to wash the cash. Every person who voted for this bill needs to be impeached, recalled, challenged, or just plain removed from office. They do not even try to hide their corruption.

  7. You can bet this is LOADED with pork for the dems. Every bill they come out with is loaded, and the idiot f**king republicans vote for it! THIS HAs to stop!

  8. $40 Billion more? Stop the madness for crying out loud! Enough is enough! We have already given them a 7-year supply of Javelin missiles and our domestic stockpile is depleted! This is not a war between Putin and Ukraine. This is a PROXY WAR between Biden and his criminal cronies who are using Ukrainian soldiers to fight to preserve their money laundering schemes!

  9. So let us hope that some Americans in the Senate show some adult pro America spine and kill this bull sh-t

  10. What else does it contain? Nancy and Schumer never let a crisis go to waste. Got to be a lot of bs in there. Not even sure it should be containing free language classes. I’m sure Poland is taking care of that. As for needing $11billion in drawdown money– what is it for? Same with if we’re giving them $6 B in weapons and training, why do we need $8.7 B to restock or what is the $8,7 B for “budget support and countering human trafficking” Umm, what is it REALLY being used for?

  11. I’m so tired of all the Politicians waving Ukrainian flags and shouting “We must stand for Democracy” and proclaiming Zelenskyy a populist “hero” when he is, in fact, just another dictator and corrupt politician. We can sympathize/support the Ukrainian people but will we start WWIII over it? Would we start WWIII over the genocide of the Uyghurs in China? The systematic genocide of Christians in Iran, in Afghanistan, in Nigeria and other parts of Africa? And, oh yeah, Ukraine is the corrupt government that took a Billion dollar bribe from Joe Biden to fire the prosecutor that was looking into his son Hunter’s money laundering scheme. Not to mention that these Republicans are complicit in the constant money printing of this administration that is the primary cause of the massive inflation that’s bankrupting our country and our citizens.

We must send a clear message to all politicians (Democrats & Republicans) that we will no longer accept our sons and daughters dying and being disfigured in useless foreign wars to promote “Democracy”. How did that work out in Iraq? In Afghanistan? In Libya in “the name of Democracy” when without invading Hillary helped get Gaddafi killed and turned a stable North African country into another failed state that now supports terrorists and has a thriving slave trade.

Trump was right and all the “Globalist” be damned. We will surely lose our nation if we don’t start focusing on our own issues. An out of control “open” border allowing in criminals, terrorists, cartels and the Chinese fentanyl that is literally killing a hundred thousand Americans every year. Our cities are turning into third world hellholes with out of control crime because of BLM, “defund the police” and Democrap “no bail” policies. Obama started and now Biden is completing the weaponization of all the the three letter agencies; the IRS, the FBI, the CIA, the DOJ, the IRA, and now even the DOD. We all know that all the social and mainstream media are weaponized as state censorship agencies. Wake up America. November will be our last chance, if it’s not already too late…..

  12. Just because the Wicked Witch of the West (Pelosi) brings a Bill to the floor doesn’t mean everyone has to jump to and vote before actually reading and studying it. The same thing happened with the Stupid Obama Healthcare Bill! Stupid People!!!
