Yelp’s Chief Diversity Officer Miriam Warren has announced that the leftist company will pay for employees to travel to other states to get an abortion and she is actively calling on other companies to step forward and do the same thing.
“Abortion is an issue many companies have shied away from,” Warren told the New York Times on Monday.
“The days of companies not wading into political issues, or not speaking out on things that are perceived as private or personal, are over,” she defiantly declared.
Her remarks follow the leak of a draft opinion by Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito to Politico that indicates the landmark abortion case Roe vs. Wade is on the brink of being overturned.
“No longer are employees in a position where they think that just a paycheck is enough from their employers. They are really challenging the employee-employer social contract. What a lot of that means is they are asking for their employers to not only provide benefits that consider the entirety of their lives, but also asking for employers to speak out on social issues that impact their lives,” Warren stated in an interview with Yahoo! Finance.

“One of the things that’s important to note here is that often the backlash gets much more press coverage, but what often doesn’t get much coverage is the fact that so many consumers, employees, and others that see these types of moves in the press really thank us for them,” Warren claimed.
“In fact, I’ve already seen a number of these thank yous come through various aliases at the company as well as on social media,” she asserted.
“I think it really comes down to equal access to care. In order to safeguard employees and make sure that they can get the healthcare that they need, no matter what state they live in, we need a benefit like this,” Warren told Reuters.
“For companies who care about issues of diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging, they can’t sit by and be silent on this issue because it really does impact every aspect of a woman’s life,” she added.
Warren is steeped in woke culture. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies from Mills College and has done coursework on community organizing, social justice, race, culture, social class, power, and privilege. She is no stranger to the progressive movement.
Yelp joins a growing list of other companies paying for employees to travel to get an abortion, including Amazon, Levi Strauss & Co., Tesla, DoorDash, Salesforce, Apple, Bumble, Match Group, Lyft, and Citigroup.

Conservatives have slammed the political stances of these companies on abortion. Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) introduced legislation that would stop corporations from receiving tax breaks for providing travel benefits to employees so they can get the procedure done.
“Our tax code should be pro-family and promote a culture of life,” Rubio proclaimed. “Instead, too often our corporations find loopholes to subsidize the murder of unborn babies or horrific ‘medical’ treatments on kids. My bill would make sure this does not happen.”
While only a final opinion can tell us what the court has decided on abortion we have already learned that the only #scotus rulings democrats consider the legitimate “law of the land” are those that help them politically or supports their agenda

Deranged leftists are urging followers to disrupt church services across America this Sunday
And they published the addresses of SupCt justices & are planning to target their homes

Texas State Representative Briscoe Cain (R) has also said he will propose legislation prohibiting local governments in the state from doing business with any company that provides travel benefits for employees seeking abortions according to MarketWatch.
Conservative activist Christopher Rufo is warning companies that they take leftist political stances at their own peril while he celebrated a win for the right over the abortion issue.
“The game has changed: executives saw what we did to Disney and have changed their risk calculations. The pushback against woke capital is starting to deliver results,” Rufo tweeted.
