More of the same racial elitism that is the coin of the realm for the “woke” political left was on full display on Friday’s edition of “The View” when Sunny Hostin popped off with yet another one of her grossly ignorant takes, this time derisively smearing black Republicans for their lack of loyalty to the Democratic Party.
Like with the rest of the leftist media, tensions have been running high following the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion suggesting that Roe v. Wade may soon be a thing of the past and there have been few more combustible venues than on ABC’s flagship daytime program where the hosts, who on any given day, are completely unhinged but have taken it to an entirely new level this week.
The recipient of Hostin’s stunningly racist putdown was guest co-host host Lindsey Granger, a black Republican who was ganged up on by the deranged leftist harpies over her support for former President Donald J. Trump, the hated bogeyman of Democrats and their media stooges.
In the midst of a heated conversation with Ana Navarro, a flaming RINO, Granger defended herself, saying that there are many things that she doesn’t stand by with Trump.
“Trump has done things that are racist,” she said, “I’m a black woman first, so always understand that but I do say that I have many conservative values that I will talk to you about, so if you look at your network that you’re standing behind, you’re saying that you stand by Chris Cuomo,” referring to the disgraced former CNN anchor when Hostin cut her off, interjecting that she is an “oxymoron” as the conversation descended into angry squabbling.
Racism on The View: Sunny Hostin claims a "black Republican" is "an oxymoron."
"I don't understand either of you," she huffed at guest co-host Lindsey Granger. "I don't under black Republicans and I don't understand Latino Republicans." pic.twitter.com/JJa6N9ff3m— Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) May 6, 2022
Conservatives absolutely walloped Hostin on Twitter following her offensive remarks with Republicans of color leading the way.
GOP House candidate Jennifer-Ruth Green, an Air Force veteran who served the country in Iraq and is running in Indiana’s First Congressional District gave a shout-out to Hostin.
“Hi, @sunny. I’m Black and a proud Republican. I was raised to love America and value the principles of faith, family, personal responsibility, and service to country.”
“I just wanted to introduce myself,” she wrote.

“Hi @sunny – I’d be happy to help you understand why I refuse to support the KKK loving, segregation defending, radical Democrat Party any day,” wrote black GOP congressional hopeful Vernon Jones. “Invite me on, @TheView . I have a feeling y’all aren’t ready for that conversation.”

“Complete ignorance! Blacks have been Republican far longer than they have been democrats,” Jones zinged Hostin in another tweet. “She may be @sunny but her thoughts are shallow and mostly cloudy.”

Republican Florida State Representative Byron Donalds also took exception to Hostin’s brazenly racist remarks.
“What is there not to understand, @sunny? Maybe @TheView would like to invite me on so that I can explain to them why I am Black Republican,” wrote Donalds but he probably shouldn’t hold his breath waiting for an invite to the snake pit on “The View” for an honest debate.

Wesley Hunt, a black Republican veteran vying for the House seat in Texas’ 38th Congressional District, also called out the show.
It seems like everyday unhinged liberals are inventing new terminology to describe Black Republicans… “Uncle Tom,” “race-traitor,” “the black face of white supremacy,” and now The View, a division of ABC News, adds “oxymoron” to the list. https://t.co/iuCzEPahPU

Others piled onto Hostin.

Sunny Hostin trending for all the wrong reasons. Black & Brown people are not allowed to be Republican? What a racist thing to imply, what a fool!

Sunny Hostin is a racist asshole! Who Agrees?
— It’s Common Sense! (@TimeToVoteRed) May 6, 2022
Why does Sunny Hostin think it’s totally natural for white ppl to have diversity of thought when it comes to politics, but all black ppl are supposed to think the same way?
She thinks like a racist.#TheView

As Abraham Lincoln, the Republican president who ended slavery in the United States once famously remarked, it’s “better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt,” Hostin would do well to pay heed to his wise advice going forward.
