The Biden administration’s Disinformation Governance Board which Americans learned of this week may have already zeroed in on its initial targets and it should come as no surprise that the social media platform founded by former President Donald J. Trump is at the top of the hit list, at least according to the CEO of Truth Social.
Former GOP congressman Devin Nunes joined Fox News host Maria Bartiromo to discuss Truth Social which he is heading up and the idea that that an entity with an implied mission that is hostile to the key American principle of free speech has come to exist, the product of a ruthlessly authoritarian regime that is determined to retain political power by any means necessary.
Billionaire Elon Musk’s billion-dollar purchase of Twitter along with Trump’s triumphant return to social media for the first time since the coordinated big tech strike against the sitting POTUS in the days after the so-called “insurrection” have infuriated big government censors who had previously relied on the “public-private partnership” to do their dirty work but have now made it official that the U.S. government will join the crushing of views that don’t parrot establishment propaganda.
After breaking down the current environment, Bartiromo welcomed Nunes to “Sunday Morning Futures” where he slammed Biden’s latest dictatorial measures.
“It’s been a great week as you said in the opening, being on the Rumble cloud, this is something that the big tech tyrants and now we actually know, the government with their new disinformation service never wanted to happen,” he said.
“Our goal, and President Trump’s goal was to give the American people their voice back and that’s what we’ve done,” he said, “and there’s no big tech tyrant that can take us down and that’s why I think it’s so Orwellian, so dystopian, something that you only see in dictatorships, that now they’re going to set up some type of disinformation board?”
Nunes continued, “I think that’s a direct attack on what we are doing at Truth Social because we can no longer be canceled, so now what do they have left to do?”
“We’re gonna protect our users from this new phony government disinformation service, and the fact that they would use some D-rated TikTok star that is the queen of disinformation herself on the Russia hoax and the laptop from hell, to head up is really the height of hypocrisy that’s so unbelievable,” the former California congressman said.
Nunes was referring to Nina Jankowicz, a rabid partisan who has been tabbed to head up what many are referring to as a “Ministry of Truth” and her cringeworthy TikTok video where the self-proclaimed “Mary Poppins of disinformation” belted out a bizarre version of “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from the 1964 Disney classic.

“I’ve spent so much time in Washington,” added Nunes, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen something so ridiculous.
“But the good thing is, is we are going to protect our users on our platform,” he said, “they’re not going to be canceled and they’re not going to be censored for political speech, so, you know, I know they may want to do it and they’re going to use the Department of Homeland Security to do it, but we’re not going to tolerate it.”
