‘There’s something going on’: Joe Rogan admits reports of impending food shortages are ‘freaking’ him out

Reports of impending food shortages have podcaster extraordinaire Joe Rogan freaked out.

“I don’t know why everyone is predicting these god**** food shortages!” Rogan told guest Remi Warren, a celebrated outdoorsman, on a recent episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

“It’s kind of freaking me out ’cause I hear about it in the news constantly,” Rogan said, according to Mediaite. “‘Food shortages are coming!’ Like, how? ‘Cause there’s so much food.”

“What are we doing? What are we going to do differently in six months than we’re doing now that you’re assuming there’s going to be food shortages?” he asked.

Warren brought up “all the conspiracies” surrounding the rash of freak fires that have plagued American food processing plants in recent months.

As previously reported in BizPac Review, some 18 food processing plants have been disabled — two by small plane crashes — in the past six months, leaving some, including Fox News’s Tucker Carlson, to wonder what is going on.

“So, industrial accidents happen, of course,” Carlson said last week, “but this is a lot of industrial accidents at food processing facilities at the same time the president is warning us about food shortages.”

It’s a string of coincidences that, for many whose trust in the media and our nation’s leaders has imploded in recent years, is hard to ignore, even if it means having rolls of tin foil flung at them.

“I’m sure they were burning factories already,” Rogan said. “I’m sure there’s something going on. How many factories are there? How many food factories are there? Are there thousands? Have we lost two? Like, what’s going on there? What should I be scared of?”

The former “Fear Factor” host noted how profitable it can be to keep consumers scared.

“There’s so much money in keeping people scared,” Rogan said. “It’s f***ed. Because, like, when you look at the news online, the value of a ‘clickbaity’ title is undeniable. When you get a good title like ‘Food Shortages,’ everyone’s like, ‘my children may starve, let me click.'”

“You are instantaneously drawn into it,” Rogan continued. “They’re rewarded so they continue to publish more fear-mongering articles.”

Still, Rogan says even he is worried.

“I’m worried I’m gonna — that it’s a ‘cry wolf’-type situation and I’m gonna ignore it and then I’m going to go to the supermarket and there’s no rice. How come you guys don’t have any rice? There’s no more rice? Where do you get rice? Is there another store where I can get rice? No more rice! What are we doing?” he went on.

Ever prepared, Rogan and Warren both say they can weather any shortages.

“Right now, if there was a food shortage I would be fine for quite a while,” Warren said.

“As long as the power stays on and the freezers keep running — good to go,” Rogan, a hunting enthusiast, agreed. “My family could eat and my friends could eat for a year.”

  1. Welcome to the United States of Sodom and Gomorrah!, Brought to you by the democrat party and radical leftist members.

  2. It is scary when that many plants have fires with in months of Biden stating there will be shortages. I am not scared for myself, let’s be honest, I could lose a good 40 or more pounds right now and if I am not working not eating isn’t that hard for me I can go almost 24 hours without food on weekends and be like oh I didn’t eat today. Last time I was unemployed to the time I got this job I had lost a lot of weight and kept it off for a number of years. I would be worried for my parents, kids and grands who need the food far more than adults in order to survive. Let’s go Brandon
