Dogmatic public health experts have not served the public effectively by packaging, to some extent, political propaganda in the form of conflicting COVID-19-related guidance and without support from actual science, Fox News medical contributor Dr. Marty Makary has implied.

Goal-post moving Dr. Anthony Fauci, the vaccine-hawk director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and chief medical advisor to President Biden, the bureaucrat who exerted almost unquestioned influence over the national response during the height of the pandemic, might perhaps be another example of misinformers condemning misinformation.

Fauci is said to be the highest-paid federal employee.

During a PBS interview on Tuesday, Fauci — who seems to spend most of his time on TV rather than looking through a microscope, studying data, or treating actual patients — said that “we are out of the pandemic stage,” only to flip flop the next day.

According to Dr. Makary, a surgeon and Johns Hopkins University professor, Fauci’s personal behavior seems to be at odds with his medical advice for the public. The doctor also insisted that Fauci “has been using the wrong data the entire pandemic.”

“Many of these people have a different own risk tolerance in their own world. Dr. Fauci has been vaccinated four times, and he still now says he is not comfortable going to the White House correspondents’ dinner this Saturday night,” Makary told Fox News host Tucker Carlson during his eponymous show on Wednesday evening in the clip embedded above. “So that is the person that is behind all the COVID policies in the United States.”

“We got to recognize that’s one opinion: Dr. Fauci is allowed to have an opinion. I think he has experience and should weigh in.”

Makary went on to point out, however, that Fauci, despite all the media hoopla that surrounds him, is “not an infectious diseases doctor. He never did an infectious diseases fellowship. He did a rheumatology fellowship.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, rheumatology is the study of “autoimmune and inflammatory diseases that primarily affect the body’s musculoskeletal system — joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments.”

Inconsistency over not practicing-what-they-preach mask mandates or guidance continues, Dr. Makary also insinuated.

“I’ve been to about five or six major doctors’ conferences over the last three months nationwide, large conferences with thousands of doctors. They’re not wearing masks, with rare exceptions…So when you have doctors aggregating and auditoriums doing their lectures and conferences, then at social events with hundreds of people not wearing masks. What does that tell you about the public health guidance that we’ve gotten?” the doctor asked rhetorically.

“The public is really getting a glimpse of the use of dogma, and even dogma in science as political propaganda, over rigorous scientific studies,’ Makary contended. “Let’s be honest; many of the controversies that have been debated the entire two years could’ve been answered in one week with a good, solid, rigorous studies.

“The NIH has $42 billion. Dr. Fauci could have answered the question about surface transmission versus airborne transmission when people were pouring…gallons of alcohol-based solutions on their mail and groceries. These are questions that could’ve been answered in a few days of rigorous study. Cloth masks, similarly, ignoring natural immunity — they’re still not honest about natural immunity. Boosters in young people; myocarditis in young males after the vaccine. And the mental health crisis that we have essentially created…the CDC won’t even tell us what the suicide rates were during the pandemic, which is very odd…so people are sick of the absolutism….”

“When you use so much dogma, that’s when people see through it, and they lose confidence,” Makary added. Officials instead should have leveled with the population during the coronavirus outbreak that they didn’t have all the answers without conducting further studies, he suggested.

“If people don’t trust their car dealer, it’s one thing. If they don’t trust their public health authorities, I mean, you’re gonna have people who are treating stage 4 pancreatic cancer with crystals and aromatherapy because they’re so afraid of doctors because they’ve been lied to too much,” Carlson said in the context of the breakdown of the traditional physician-patient relationship.

Carlson began the segment by noting that ending Title 42 at the border leading to an even-worse unrestricted illegal immigration surge “is about as popular as mask mandates” and could pose an electoral disaster for the Democrats in November.

“So maybe if you’re asking yourself how could Tony Fauci declare the pandemic over yesterday and back on today, maybe they’re connected…”

Separately Dr. Mehmet Oz, now a GOP candidate for U.S. Senate from Pennsylvania, has often said that “when you mix politics with medicine you get politics.”

Another celebrity physician, ubiquitous multimedia personality Dr. Drew Pinsky, who is a vaccine advocate, has claimed on his podcast that the COVID outbreak is the first time in history that bureaucrats have interfered with the doctor-patient relationship.

Despite receiving four COVID vaccine jabs, VP Kamala Harris has tested positive for the virus.

  1. I wonder how many suicides were “classified” as covid deaths? I know several healthy people who have lung problems, blood clots, etc since getting the vax and boosters but are attributed to unknown causes and are treated for anything but! This whole ordeal is ludicrous!🤨

  2. The truth be told, Fauci probably faked his vaccination, he knows what mRNA can do to the body, with a long term effect. He also knew the mask doesn’t work as he told the truth the first time. The narcissist just like fame and the control. He is “science”. LOL

  3. Fauci is upset no one listens anymore. He hasn’t followed his own advice all along now he won’t go to the dinner, who cares. His hands are dirty , he had a part of this lab, this leak, and the fear driven nonsense since. He’s bungled it and drove an entire profession to mismanage covid deaths. His license should be revoked.

  4. What Dr.Fauci, a bureaucrat who does as he is told, knows is that the China virus vaccine(s) and masks DON’T WORK!

  5. I had seen Dr. Death on a talk show and the Reporter ask him if he had taken the Jab and he said No. Now this Dr. is saying Dr. Death has all of his Jab’s. Somebody is Fibbing.

    1. Since Fauci is part owner of the Moderna patent, I’m sure he knows perfectly well the dangers of this vax. Bill Gates has been involved from the beginning and has already used vaccines twice before in 2014 to cull the population.
