California, Illinois, New York deceptively diverted COVID relief funds to push CRT in schools

Deep blue states including California, Illinois, and New York are reportedly diverting billions in COVID funds from President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion relief package into public schools to push Critical Race Theory (CRT) concepts despite claims to the contrary.

According to Democrats, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act, which was shoved through in March 2021 with no Republican support, was vital to reopening schools during the pandemic.

What wasn’t widely publicized was that the act also provided in excess of $122 billion in funds for the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER) according to Fox News. That fund assisted numerous states in implementing “implicit bias” and “anti-racism” training, among other woke progressive programs, according to research conducted by One Nation.

The White House told Fox Business in February 2021 that ESSER funding would provide schools “with the resources they need to safely reopen and fully serve their students.” But that, evidently, was not the whole story.

“This is one moment in which it’s very clear that public policy is quite literally a matter of life and death,” Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) declared in February 2021. He went on to assert that the bill would provide “more than $4 billion to the state of Georgia’s K through 12 schools to ensure students, teachers, and staff stay safe and healthy, and to address learning loss.”

After the bill was signed by the president, the Department of Education announced that ESSER would be utilized to “implement the CDC’s recommended prevention and mitigation strategies for K-12 schools, meet student and educators’ social, emotional, and mental health needs, invest in strategies to address lost instructional time, and boldly address inequities exacerbated by the pandemic.”

The Department of Education has been at the center of all of this. In August 2021, they put out a report advising states on how they should use ARP funds.

“Rebuilding from COVID-19 is an opportunity to reexamine and strengthen school policies,” the report stated. It went on to assert that some school systems may see a need for a “culture shift” to make sure schools “reopen equitably for all students.”

The report called for school districts to “implement strategies designed for systemic change at the local and school level.”

“Educators should evaluate and reflect on their school culture, climate, and policies and can use well-designed survey tools to learn what practices may be keeping all students from feeling safe, included, and academically challenged and supported,” the report advised. “Based on this information, they should commit to making improvements to achieve the goal of safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments.”

At least $46.5 billion from the ARP ESSER fund has been doled out to 13 states. Those states include California, Illinois, and New York. The states allegedly plan to use the funds to implement CRT in schools.

The California Department of Education was awarded a whopping $15.1 billion in ARP ESSER funding to reopen schools. That amount also included $1.5 billion for training resources for school staff that would be used for “high-need topics,” such as “implicit bias training.” Funds were used for “anti-bias strategies,” “environmental literacy,” “ethnic studies,” and “LGBTQ+ cultural competency,” according to the plan.

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) was given $9 billion in ARP ESSER funding to reopen schools. The funds assisted NYSED’s Civic Readiness Taskforce in crafting a plan to promote “staff development on topics such as culturally responsive sustaining instruction and student support practices, privilege, implicit bias, and reactions in times of stress.” Social-emotional learning [SEL] was also pushed to “support the work of anti-racism and anti-bias.”

Illinois received $5.1 billion in ARP ESSER funding to reopen schools. Its plan implemented strategies with “an emphasis on equity and diversity.” The plan included training on subjects such as “anti-racism” and equity.

At least ten other states, including Michigan, New Jersey, and Virginia, are using or planning to use billions of dollars in ARP funding to promote CRT in schools.

One Nation President Steven Law bluntly branded Biden’s ARP fund a “massive bait-and-switch” that is being used to indoctrinate children.

“It turns out Biden’s so-called American Rescue Plan was a multitrillion-dollar progressive shopping list, a massive bait-and-switch for life-saving COVID aid,” Law remarked in a statement given to Fox News Digital. “Indoctrinating children to judge themselves and one another based on the color of their skin is wrong and has nothing to do with fighting COVID or getting our economy back on track.”

“The Department is not encouraging the use of American Rescue Plan funds to teach CRT — and any claim to the contrary is patently false,” a statement from the Department of Education disingenuously claimed. “The Department believes politicians should stay out of the curriculum decisions that are best made at the local level, in engagement with parents, families, and local school communities.”

“American Rescue Plan funds – which have been indispensable to safely re-opening practically 100% of our schools – are helping school communities recover from COVID-19, by providing vital resources to help students make up for lost learning time and to support their mental health,” the statement added. “As we’ve repeatedly told your outlet, and is on the Department’s website, curriculum decisions are made at the local level.”

And so imagine, if you will, the future….American children grown up and trying to fit into a global society with a background in CRT and sex training from Disney. With their blue and pink hair, nose rings and tattoos. Space and landing on another planet? Aliens will surely annilate the whole planet. Or God will look down and decide He’s had enough of this foolishness and do another clean sweep.

Home-school your kids. When the ADA* numbers drop precipitously, then maybe these so-called unions (that control the education system) will get the hint.

Never give a politician a buck to use freely. Even if “that” dollar was used for an honest intended purpose, it just frees up an existing dollar sitting in another fund to be misused. They can dance around it as much as they want. If schools needed COVID related masks, sanitizer, etc to open safely then send those specific items directly to them based on number of students and staff. Again, never give a beggar a dollar, they’ll misuse it.
