A woke preschool teacher took to TikTok recently to declare that she proudly teaches diversity in her classroom to her four-year-old students, usually using kids’ books, and has them choose a colorful pronoun pin every day.
Libs of Tik Tok found the video and posted it on Twitter for the world to see, stating, “‘Diversity is my favorite thing to teach’ says non-binary preschool teacher who also makes 4 year olds pick a pronoun pin every day to wear.”
“Hi! My name’s As and I’m a preschool teacher. So, my classroom celebrates diversity. It’s probably my favorite thing to teach. We usually use kids’ books to talk about this kind of thing. Recently, we started wearing pronoun pins and the kids get to pick a new pronoun pin every… We have some that pick like she/her every single day and we have some that change it up,” the teacher states in the video.
“So, diversity is really important in my mind. So, I recently realized that there’s a whole lot of really amazing figureheads and people to look up to in this world who aren’t white or straight or male or what have you and that we should learn a little more about these people,” she added.

The teacher’s promotion of pronoun pins was not popular among conservatives.
Melissa McKenzie, who works at The American Spectator, had this to say via Twitter about the video: “What 4 year olds should be taught and what I taught my kids: how to read, the phases of the moon, the days of the week, how to write their name, drawing pictures of home or favorite animals, finger painting, playing on the playground. This is programming and it is gross.”
Conservative author John Hawkins was blunt concerning the teacher, “You can just look at her hair and weird eyebrow and tell she has no business teaching children.”

One commenter named Matt Gilliam asked a very poignant question, “How many of these actually are teachers? Part of me feels like half of them are just trying to score social points for their woke crowd and to get praise.”
