ABC’s “The View” continues to stay atop the rankings as a best-case study of collective neurosis on TV, and co-host Sunny Hostin habitually presents as one of the top offenders.
Her latest proclamation is that face masks exist for a reason and wearing them should be mandatory because Americans “just aren’t great people.”
She threw a bit of a temper-tantrum that appeared to be aimed at her own thoughts and no one else’s on Monday’s show, declaring, “I think when it comes to mask mandates, they’re there because people just aren’t great people. That’s just the bottom line. Americans just aren’t great to each other.”
Then raising her voice she added, “I want the mask! I want the mask!”

The clip was posted to Twitter by a third party for obvious reasons, and the reactions were swift.
I’m happy to report where I live, go out, do errands and see my neighbors we ARE great to each other masked or not. I’m grateful for that 🙏🏼

Well if there’s ever a show that amplifies that attitude, it’s the View. Pretty snarky bunch.

Well, I think Sunny Hostin is a pinhead, and The View? It’s nothing but overpaid mostly unattractive, hypocritical women stewing in bitter, resentful juices of their own making day after day.

Where can I get a transparent mask like the one she’s wearing?

Considering she’s a flaming racist. I guess I agree.

One of the guests that day was Alyssa Farah Griffin, former White House Director of Strategic Communications under President Trump. She remarked critically on the mask theater so prevalent for the last two years of the pandemic with the highest in power being the worst offenders.
Sunny Hostin, though, wasn’t having it.
She made sure to smugly remind Griffin of the “Rose Garden Superspreader” event held to celebrate the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the nation’s highest court in 2020. Naturally, she failed to acknowledge the recent spread of COVID infections throughout the current administration after both the Ketanji Brown Jackson celebration and former President Obama’s recent visit to the White House where a profusion of cringe-worthy hero worship was on full display.
The hypocrisy of COVID is glaring — how does Sunny Hostin feel that Kamala Harris is considered a ‘close contact’ and attended the KBJ speech maskless? pic.twitter.com/KcFRu8Bxah

It is amazing The “View” has any viewers. Then again, liberals are not the brightest though they think they are.

Hostin never resists the urge to slap her opinion on anyone who will listen, and she usually does so in the manner of a petulant child. She recently made the tiresome claim that any criticism of Vice President Kamala Harris could only be based on racism.
“What it is is that they constantly question the qualifications of black women,” Hostin declared in light of the criticism the VP received following her all-you can-eat word salad of a European vacation in March, “and that’s why people are saying that she’s unprepared.”
“You can disagree,” Hostin went on before stating, “but that’s the truth of it. And so this is based in racism.”
She also revealed in April that she and her family had looked into suing former President Trump for the death of her in-laws due to COVID, causing her co-hosts to swoon over the prospect.
But, just like her career, the plot doesn’t appear to be going anywhere.
