MSNBC’s Joy Reid compares Republican voters to al Qaeda, calls GOP ‘pro-rape, pro-child marriage party’

MSNBC host Joy Reid outdid herself in the “vicious” category on Twitter, comparing Republican voters to al-Qaeda, the terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11, and then going on to call the GOP the party of “pro-rape” while slamming white Christians.

“Republicans vote like al-Qaeda fights: with a patient, long-term goal of seizing power and forcing the libertine culture to heel under the boot; no matter how many elections it takes,” she monstrously tweeted Tuesday.

“That’s why those anti-voting laws work. They’re designed to frustrate voters out of even trying to participate. And the constant bizarre propaganda from the Republican right serves the same purpose: convincing people that there’s no point to politics. It’s all memes and theater,” the liberal talking head charged.

Reid also tweeted, “Democrats are in super minorities in these state legislatures where this stuff is passing precisely because their younger, multiracial base largely sits out midterm and state elections while Republicans, who are overwhelmingly white, rural and far right Christian vote every time.”

The leftist was just getting revved up. There were more vile tweets to come centering around race, politics, and victimhood, and no Twitter fact-checks in sight.

“The greatest, and sickest irony of the @GOP’s new political strategy is that they are appealing to the most prurient fears of white Christian parents, while passing bills and maintaining alliances that normalize child brides and rape as a legitimate means of procreation,” Reid outrageously stated.

“If Democrats were anything like Republicans, they’d long ago have begun calling them the pro-rape, pro child marriage party and accusing them of forcing women to be child-birthing slaves of the state, while banning the teaching of what slavery is to keep the chattel docile,” she asserted.

“I genuinely fear that before long, America will look a lot more like Russia or Hungary or even Afghanistan than any one of y’all can imagine. Because Republicans are aggressive in their pursuit of social and political control, while just about everyone else is pretty disengaged,” Reid claimed.

These outlandish, over-the-top proclamations surfaced after she declared earlier this week that any Republicans who vote against Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson are on “the Dixiecrat side of history” and that former President Donald Trump would have been prosecuted by now if he was a Democrat.

Reid also claimed earlier that Ukraine is seeing global support because it is a country full of white Christians.

“Let’s face it,” she stated. “The world is paying attention because this is happening in Europe. If this was happening anywhere else, would we be seeing the same outpour of support and compassion? We don’t need to ask ourselves if our response would be the same if Russia unleashed their horror on a country that wasn’t White and largely Christian.”

The MSNBC pundit has also asserted that Republicans want a “white Christian autocracy.”

“I understand that they prefer autocracy. They want a White Christian autocracy in the United States. They believe that White Christians are sort of beleaguered and deserve to rule the United States without elections. Got it. But this is really, at this point, open,” she said, according to Fox News.
