A problematic and collective-guilt-spewing discussion on “The Problem with Jon Stewart” culminated in the host seemingly implying that anti-Trump pundit Andrew Sullivan is a racist.

That was preceded by a panelist asserting that she didn’t come on Jon Stewart’s show to argue with a white man like Sullivan whom she was “shutting down.”

Lisa Bond of an organization called Race2Dinner added that “every single white person upholds these systems and structures of white supremacy.” The cheering, applauding audience for the Apple TV+ show sounded like it was recruited from the same compliant cohort that attends Bill Maher’s HBO tapings.

The very liberal New York magazine previously described the Race2Dinner motif as a “collection of affluent white women, equipped with varying degrees of vanity and self-delusion, [who] gather at a well-appointed dinner table.”

Race2Dinner reportedly charges $2,500 to shame white women about race over a meal; Bond earlier in the conversation noted that Race2Dinner “doesn’t even engage with white men,” which some might conclude kind of sounds racist and sexist.

“If I could finger snap, I would finger snap right now,” Jon Stewart said, agreeing with the commentary from Bond, who had also accused Sullivan of perpetuating “racist dog-whistle tropes.”

When Sullivan, who was at a disadvantage in the colloquy because he was participating remotely, chimed in that “you’d be finger-snapping her calling me a racist, Jon,” Stewart responded that “You’ve been doing a pretty good job with it yourself there,” to predictable liberal laughter from the audience.

The entire cringeworthy, 20-minute segment is embedded below from which you can draw your own conclusions:

Sullivan presumably prompted the ire of Stewart and Bond when he dissented from the premise of the discussion:

“America in 2022 is the most multiracial, multicultural, tolerant, diverse melting pot that has ever existed on planet Earth, and there is no other place on Earth even like it. That’s why 86 percent of our immigrants are non-white. Do you think they want to come to a white supremacist country?,” he asked rhetorically.

Later in the discussion, the former Comedy Central “Daily Show” host and Sullivan disagreed as to whether they were residents of the same celestial body.

“I think you are not living on the planet most Americans are, which is why this kind of extremism, this anti-white extremism is losing popular support, is creating a backlash, is gonna elect Republicans, and undo a lot of the good you think you’re doing,” Sullivan declared.

Sullivan, an immigrant from the U.K., also insisted that describing America as a bastion of white supremacy is “possibly the most absurd hyperbole I’ve ever heard.”

According to Bond, white men had 400 years to remedy systemic racism and failed to do so. When Stewart claimed that America has an “awful history,” Sullivan responded that “we also have a great history.”

Other than Stewart sycophants, here’s how some on Twitter reacted to the discussion:

  1. I thought Stewart was a more knowledgeable person than what his remarks show. He clearly doesn’t know the history of slavery nor is he in touch with real america. It seems as though he’s been held captive by antifa and BLM since he left his show.

  2. It was so nice for years when the nut job Jon Stewart was gone and we did not have to listen to him
