Gut-wrenching dashcam footage shows a stranded driver leap out of the way just in time as an 18-wheeler barrels in his direction, unable to control the massive vehicle.
The truck was driving on Interstate 81 in Schuylkill which, at the time, was enduring a snow squall that impaired drivers’ vision and created an extremely slick road. Suddenly, a huge, multi-car pileup comes into view, but it is already too late for the truck driver. He attempts to break, but ends up skidding toward the wreckage and, just before hitting other vehicles, the dashcam captures a man jumping out of the way of the out-of-control truck.

Another video shows the extent of the damage, as crashed vehicles littered the roadway, creating an impassable blockage. Some vehicles were on fire or smoking, and some Twitter sources were reporting that at least 3 people died as the result of the crash.
