If CNN was capable of describing itself honestly, the best definition would be that it’s a word-laundering spin machine for the Democrats and President Joe Biden.

On the heels of Biden’s tour of Europe, the White House has scrambled – as it seemingly must every single day – to mend the latest series of gaffes spilling forth from Joe Biden’s incongruous and unfiltered manner of speech, and ever-devoted CNN was there to bat cleanup for the regime.

The pundits of “New Day” discussed Biden’s recent statement that Russian President Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power” on Monday’s show, with senior political analyst John Avlon providing cover and referring to Biden’s statement as “a mistake to the extent that it is a gaffe” and merely an “outburst.”

Avlon continued and said that Biden’s declaration was not “a call for regime change” or a “redefinition of U.S. policy” and hedged it by saying he believes most world leaders agree that Putin cannot remain in power “after showing himself to be such a fundamentally lawless butcher of civilians.”

His counterpart, senior global affairs analyst Bianna Golodryga, concurred and said Biden’s gaffes were not “helpful,” but that she “[didn’t] think it was that harmful either.” She went on to remind everyone that Biden had previously called Putin a “killer,” but the Russian dictator still met with the U.S. president. She argued that Biden’s contemporaries didn’t help the situation either.

“I think all the attention is unwarranted and I don’t think it was helpful to have nearly every single European leader weigh-in and walk it back and say that’s not their view or what have you. If we’re going to be presenting a united front, as NATO has been, then they need to continue making that point,” she suggested.

Speaking remotely, co-host John Berman made an atypical concession in the name of logic and observed, “the White House clearly thought there was an issue else they wouldn’t have walked it back, right?”

In a prior segment, former Obama State Department official Joel Rubin served up some more spin to bolster the left’s narrative, saying, “[speaking] from the heart” as “anybody…say[ing] that Vladimir Putin staying in power is a good thing I think clearly are misreading the entire environment.” Rubin dismissed Biden’s gaffe as a minor blemish on the “capstone of an incredibly successful week.”

CNN political analyst Kimberly Dozier disagreed with Rubin’s suggestion that Biden was playing 4-D chess and was “a couple of steps ahead on this whole situation,” as he said. She argued the conflict in Ukraine will be prolonged over perhaps years, and the U.S. and its allies must have a comprehensive outlook for the region.

“Well, I don’t think it’s obvious that regime change is not the U.S. policy when he [Biden] says something like that,” she said.

“It was a speech where the world was watching and Biden handed a gift to Russian propagandists. It’s been Putin’s line all along…I don’t think this was a moment to ruin…other things from the visit that were great in terms of lining up NATO countries together, showing unity and then saying something also that you’re not prepared to follow through with. So, you know, as Putin remains in power year after year from here on out, it becomes a way of undermining Biden’s power,” she continued.

“You said something that you didn’t make happen. It was just sort of wishful thinking. So that’s why I was disappointed in it,” Dozier contended.

“He [Biden] should be prepared to lay out the strategy. If he is signaling that this is a change in policy from the White House, that they do want regime change, then you’ve got to be prepared to back that up, but this was supposed to be — it was right after the part of his speech where he was messaging and reaching out to the Russian people, so it sounded like he was calling on them to overthrow their leader,” she added.

  1. My 75 year old aunt texted me last night to tell me she and my uncle tested positive for Covid. I drove to their house at 12:30 AM and dropped off Ivermectin pills, HCQ, zinc, and Quercetin. She told me today her fever came down and that I may have saved her life. Uncle is feeling great. This is considered a negative outcome by the cabal. They would prefer my family dead. Their evil is no longer a theory and very much a reality. You can get your ivm by visiting ivmcures/com (Looks like I can’t post links, replace / with .)

  2. Biden is a pathetic senile old man-who if he were a Republican would be the laughing stock of the world and not allowed to remain in office -and anyone with a brain knows it.The Dems would tear him apart and so would our corrupt and colluding press.
