In case you were wondering, the already infamous Will Smith-Chris Rock tussle at last night’s Oscars was the fault of former President Donald Trump. Or maybe it’s his fault that everybody didn’t get up and leave. The point is Trump is involved somehow.
At least that’s the verdict according to Asha Rangappa, an on-air CNN analyst who happens to be one of the network’s more vocal liberal commentators on social media.
“So did like anyone walk out after that happened??? Or are we getting an independent psychological case study on how Trump got normalized?” she asked her followers on Twitter.

She’s referring, of course, to the little dustup that happened between Will Smith and Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards, which aired last night at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Chris Rock made a somewhat impolitic joke about Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, who is suffering from alopecia, an autoimmune disorder that causes hair loss.
“Jada, I love you—’G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it,” Rock joked in his tasteless skit, referring to the movie “G.I. Jane,” where actress Demi Moore famously shaved off her hair for the part. This apparently prompted Smith, who was earlier seen laughing at the joke, to come onstage and pop Rock in the mouth. It was an awkwardly amusing moment in an otherwise forgettable Oscars ceremony, at least until those looking on realized this was real and not part of the script. Smith later went on to win the Best Actor award for the film “King Richard.”
But CNN’s Asha Rangappa thought the crowd should have walked out of the theater — and apparently believes the only reason they didn’t is because Donald Trump somehow “normalized” bad behavior during his tenure in the White House. Rangappa’s comments swiftly drew some much-deserved mockery from Twitter’s denizens.
CNN blames Trump for Will Smith assaulting Chris Rock at the Oscars.
You can’t make this stuff up.

I can't believe Trump made Will Smith slap Chris Rock at the Oscars.

It’s not the first time Rangappa has appeared in the news. Just last October, for instance, she was widely mocked for her response to an Associated Press reporter who claimed that, during a Southwest flight from Houston to Albuquerque, the pilot signed off after making his announcements to passengers by using the subversive “Let’s Go Brandon” catchphrase.
In a tweet, Rangappa compared the pilot to an ISIS sympathizer, writing: “As an experiment, I’d love for an @SouthwestAir pilot to say ‘Long live ISIS’ before taking off. My guess is that 1) the plane would be immediately grounded; 2) the pilot fired; and 3) a statement issued by the airline within a matter of hours.” She showed absolutely no awareness that any pilot doing so would be declaring allegiance to a foreign terrorist organization, and threatening all passengers with death, whereas gently mocking the President of the United States is a harmless, time-honored American pastime protected by the First Amendment.
You're aware that a plane full of people would then believe they were about to die, right? Not exactly the same but so close. https://t.co/W4UrAMfAKg

And that’s not all. Rangappa, who happens to be a senior lecturer at Yale University, criticized Nikki Haley, former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., for using “Nikki” (her middle name) instead of her given name, “Nimrata,” though why that should be any of her business is anyone’s guess. She also doxxed an intern at the Washington Free Beacon last year by putting all her personal information on Twitter.

“Trump normalized bad behavior”….if not for projection, the Democrats would have no platform.
Asha known on the street as easy “C”. Go figure.
The Will Smith(total douchebag cuckold) thing with Chris Rock was fake. Did you see Smith laughing at the joke… before he went to the stage?
More Hollyweird BS. The Oscars ratings have slipped below Green Acres re-runs…
“Nobody is watching the Oscars, Trumps fault”, said every liberal(aka LOSERS)
“CNN analyst finds a way to fault Trump after Will Smith goes berserk on Chris Rock” Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah…………………..moron.
The exploding numbers of liberal, Trump hating rag heads, expressing themselves.
how dumb can dumbdonkeys get i can see now dumber every day fjb
Progressives will be blaming Trump for everything from Tornadoes to the Shingles disease for years to come. Hate simply needs no reason other than its own self-satisfaction.
Asha Rangappa is obviously seriously disturbed. Selective judgement seems to be a problem that most of our modern press corps shares. The First Amendment is appropriate for ‘journalists’, but not for others. I wonder if she ever read our ‘Declaration of Independence’ or our ‘Constitution’.
It would seem that rangappa’s comment is the very epitome of her contention of normalised behaviour aka bad behavior. Did Trump invent antifa, or the BLM, or a Democrat ic party ‘s questioning of a SCOTUS nominee devolving into , “do you like beer”.
I find it amusing that CNN, a huge supporter of BLM, tried to blame President Trump for the black on black crime. Those who were stupid enough to watch the Oscars might have just as well been watching CNN, with their”mostly peaceful” protests, with the buildings burning in the background. CNN wouldn’t know the truth if they were drowning in it. FJB
Do CNN, MSNBC, et all give a far leftist brainwashing test to all of their talking heads” If so, all of them have passed with highest marks!
Damn, I don’t blame her for blaming the Donald or anyone for that matter with a name like
Asvgkkhxfbj Babxghfchj!!!!
Sheez, is there anything these leftist morons won’t blame on Trump?
Oh, the DS is deep in this person! What a way to live life when you are constantly in a state of derangement syndrome in every waking second of your miserable life. Wokeness really drives the madness in you people, right Rangappa?
She is suffering from both DS and BS syndromes.
Idiot’s , all of them,…
Oops, sorry, TRUMP made me say that ….
What has allowed that to happen is the fact that cities, states, and politicians are not allowed to take care of Black Rats….Smash and Grab unpunished… walking out in clear view with big screen TV’s not punished.. no bond , no bail, inner city BS has made ANYTHING that this present black culture does go without punishment of consequences…
Take his Oscar away…. Ban him , or that other word that gets thrown around when a White man does or says something stupid… Cancel Culture him !!!
