There aren’t too many men who would describe their visit to the Playboy Mansion as “hell,” but it turns out Donald Trump Jr. is one of them.
In this case, however, it might be understandable. The visit took place in 2007, and Don Jr.’s remarks were made during an interview with “The Adam Carolla Show,” which actually took place live from the Playboy Mansion itself.
It turns out the problem had less to do with the Mansion and more to do with the fact that Trump spent his time there with his pregnant wife, Vanessa, from whom he’s since separated.
“Can you believe the hell I’m going through?” he said in the interview, which can be found on the Internet Archive. “I’m at the Playboy Mansion with a pregnant wife! It doesn’t get worse than that, does it? Now I love my wife, but that is rough. And I’m going to pay for these statements later on tonight. I’m gonna pay.”
Trump’s wife Vanessa gave birth to daughter Kai Madison, the first of their five children, a few months after the interview. It’s certainly a little strange that he would bring his wife — his pregnant wife, no less — during a visit to the Playboy Mansion, but perhaps he wished to prove to her that the trip was strictly business and he was in no way cheating on her.
Even so, it wasn’t in the cards for their marriage to last. After twelve years, the couple split in 2018 amid rumors Don Jr. was having an affair with a former contestant on “Celebrity Apprentice.”
The Trump family has a long history at the Playboy Mansion, where Donald Trump was a frequent guest. The former president was even featured on the notorious men’s magazine’s cover in 1990, and was said to be a friend of Hugh Hefner until the latter repudiated the friendship after Trump’s presidential run.

More recently, Donald Trump, Jr. has announced the launch of MxM News, a news aggregation app that he expects to compete with the likes of Apple News and Google News. The app will curate news stories from across the ideological spectrum, with a view to eliminating the leftist bias of most mainstream news outlets.
A preview on Apple’s app store states: “MxM News delivers curated news that cut through the censorship, mainstream bias, and institutional dominance that has left society divided and misinformed.
“The platform allows readers to access the news that matters, particularly when it is being ignored. Updated minute-by-minute with news coverage from a diversity of publications and topics, readers have a one stop to be informed and stay informed.”

“As I travel around the country, the complaint I hear more than almost anything else is that people don’t know what media outlets, journalists or stories they can actually trust,” Trump said last week, according to Axios.
“We created the MxM News app to help people cut through that clutter and get trustworthy news and information about topics that matter and impact their lives,” he added. “We view it as an important public service and also believe it will be a great business.”

Thirty years ago, I don’t know what I did. Is this when Hillary said she hopes Donald Trump goes into politics because he is so honest and can’t be bought? I have a copy of that article on file.

It goes from an old visit to the Play Boy perversion center, to something about a new news media app, seemingly unrelated topics, in a disjointed skip from one topic to the other.
