With it becoming evident that President Biden’s Supreme Court pick Ketanji Brown Jackson is a dumpster fire of a nominee, leftists are pulling out all stops to discourage and discredit Republicans who have criticized her with some even suggesting that tough questioning is putting her life in danger.

Jackson’s failure to provide satisfactory answers for her support of the cancerous teachings of Critical Race Theory, her defense of lesser sentencing for internet perverts trafficking in child pornography, and her incomprehensible refusal to define what a woman is has put her historic nomination in jeopardy.

On Thursday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell came out and said that he plans to oppose her nomination, cracking open the door for other GOP senators to do likewise and the growing dilemma has Democrats and their media allies throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks.

One of them is CNN’s John Harwood who mainstreamed the kooky conspiracy theories of race-obsessed crank Elie Mystal when he took to Twitter to insinuate that Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee could encourage someone to take a shot at KBJ.

According to Harwood, “on ambitious GOP senators ‘playing to the base’ w/KBJ,” cherry-picking a line from the conservative National Review to discredit the intense questioning during the hearing, “-conservative Nat’l Review calls their attacks ‘meritless.'”

He invoked the deranged individual who showed up at a Washington, D.C. eatery with a gun as a reaction to the nutty “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory.

“-they know a disturbed man fantasizing about Dems and child sex trafficking fired an assault rifle in DC pizzeria in 2016,” Harwood wrote, adding, “political fun-and-games can get dangerous,” all but accusing the likes of Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham and Josh Hawley of putting a target on Brown’s back.

Harwood, who is viewed as a credible mainstream journalist, showed that in these twisted political times even the most well-respected journalists have much in common with the hysterics who, in a saner time, were relegated to the fringe, people like Mystal, the justice correspondent for the far-left publication The Nation as well as a regular guest of MSNBC’s most racially inflammatory hosts.

Over the weekend, Mystal accused Sen. Hawley of inciting an assassination attempt against the D.C. Appeals Court judge.

“What Josh Hawley is doing, let’s be very clear, what Josh Hawley is doing when he tries to do this is he is trying to get her killed,” he claimed.

“He is trying to get violence done against a Supreme Court nominee and we know this because when these people go off making their ridiculous claims about child pornography, we know that there’s some of their people show up violently to do stuff, as happened to the New Hampshire pizza parlor,” referring to the 2016 incident at the Comet Ping Pong pizzeria.

“And you know how I know that Josh Hawley knows what ‘Pizzagate’ is all about?” the agitated Mystal continued. “Because guess who’s the judge who sentenced the ‘Pizzagate’ guy? That was Ketanji Brown Jackson,” a cue that has been received by other Democrat propagandists who will be upping their game as KBJ’s nomination hangs in the balance.

Harwood was dragged by Twitter users for his foray into the domain of hysterical lunatics like Mystal.

The desperation is only going to mount as the wagons are circled around Jackson to prevent what would be a major political humiliation for Biden if he is forced to claw her nomination back.
