‘Spare us your presence’: Trudeau decimated on world stage as liberty-loving EU members HAVE AT HIM

If Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expected a resounding hero’s welcome during his visit to the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, he must have been sorely disappointed.

The EU is a globalist-dominated institution where the leader of the far-left Liberal Party generally fits in seamlessly.

Several of its elected members, however, took the floor to castigate Trudeau for, among other things, using the police as a martial law force to violently break up the peaceful Freedom Convoy and for temporarily invoking the country’s Emergencies Act to vindictively freeze protesters’ bank accounts without due process.

Ironically, vaccine- and mandate-hawk Trudeau gave a speech there that lamented authoritarianism and praised democracy.

Christine Anderson, an MEP from Germany, for example, gave Trudeau a not-so-warm welcome.

“Based on Article 195, I would like to point out that it would have been more appropriate for Mr. Trudeau…to address this house according to Article 144, an article which was specifically designed to debate violations of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law, which is clearly the case with Mr. Trudeau,” Anderson asserted.

“Then again, a prime minister who openly admires the Chinese ‘basic dictatorship,’ who tramples on fundamental rights by persecuting and criminalizing his own citizens as terrorists, just because they dared to stand up to his perverted concept of democracy, should not be allowed to speak in this house at all.

“Mr. Trudeau, you are a disgrace for any democracy. Please spare us your presence,” Anderson concluded to the sound of applause.

Mislav Kolakusic, an MEP from Croatia, where he reportedly lived under a communist regime in that country, also called out Trudeau, who was sitting nearby, according to a translation.

“Canada, once a symbol of the modern world, has become a symbol of civil rights violations under your quasi-liberal boot in recent months,” The former judge declared.

“We watched how you trample women with horses, how you block the bank accounts of single parents so they can’t even pay their children’s education and medicine, that they can’t pay utilities, mortgages for their homes.

“To you, these may be liberal methods; for many citizens of the world, it is a dictatorship of the worst kind. Rest assured that the citizens of the world united, can stop any regime that wants to destroy the freedom of citizens either by bombs or harmful pharmaceutical products,” he continued.

Similarly, an MEP from Romania compared Trudeau to his country’s former communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu.

“The prime minister of Canada, the way he’s behaving right now, he’s exactly like a tyrant, like a dictator. He’s like Ceausescu in Romania,” MEP Cristian Terhes said. “If you raise doubts about the vaccines, you are outcasted. What’s the difference between what he does and what happened under the Inquisition?”

The self-described supporter of the Canadian trucker protest added that “I hope this movement for freedom and for rights is spreading all around the world because, at the end of the day, we have to make sure that all these elected officials, they understand that they were elected in those offices to work for the people, not to behave like masters…”

Trudeau, who benefitted in politics from his family name because his father Pierre also served as PM, and has been described as a privileged and woke trust-fund baby, is holding on to power in a parliamentary minority government only with the backing of the even-more leftist New Democratic Party.

Unfortunately for freedom-loving Canadians, Trudeau just cut a deal with the NDP to purportedly stay in power until 2025.

“The current breakdown of the House has Mr. Trudeau’s Liberals holding 159 of the 338-seat lower chamber, with the Conservatives holding 119, followed by the NDP with 25 and the remaining being held by smaller political parties,” The Independent noted.
