A Brazilian woman was reportedly inspired by God to “help” a homeless man in the wee hours of the morning last week.

But the churchgoing woman didn’t offer the man food or money. Instead, she appealed to his other “needs” by having sex with the homeless man in a white car she had left home with earlier in the day and parked near a primary school, according to a report by Brazilian publication Metropóles.

Though the woman is obviously a very giving and selfless soul, the unnamed woman’s 31-year-old husband Eduardo Alves was less than pleased when he discovered his wife doing the deed in the parked car with the homeless man.

Assuming that his wife was being raped as he peered through the front window, the personal trainer slammed his hand on the windshield in anger before opening the car door to beat the man down.

The homeless man began walking away but Alves went after him and popped him again, before pounding on a nearby door, apparently in search of assistance.

The incident was captured on neighborhood surveillance cameras and shows Alves approaching the car before repeatedly beating the man who ultimately sustained severe bruising and two black eyes. The wife lay on the ground near the car as the scene unfolded.

Earlier, the woman had left home with her mother to help the homeless man, but they later split up and Alves was not able to get in touch with his wife which prompted him to go out in search of her.

The wife told police that her interactions with the homeless man were consensual and that through her church, she enjoyed helping people who were vulnerable. She claimed she had received “a message from God” to “help” the homeless man.

And as it turns out, Brazilian churchgoers have a history of unusual displays of love for their brothers and sisters in Christ.

In 2019, a massive 50,000 person religious service was interrupted by a 32-year-old woman who shoved the famous Father Marcelo Rossi off stage mid-sentence as the crowd collectively gasped in horror.

The Grammy-nominated Latin singer and priest did not press charges and claimed the Virgin Mary protected him from being harmed.

“The priest is well,” the church said in a statement. “He was attended by the medical staff at the event and presided over the celebration to the end.”
