Lawyer for mother of Hunter Biden’s child: ‘I expect him to be indicted’

The lawyer for the mother of Hunter Biden’s child believes the first son will ultimately be indicted for tax fraud.

Clint Lancaster, who represents Lunden Roberts, the 31-year-old mother to Biden’s 3-year-old daughter, spoke to CNBC and stated that, after looking through Biden’s financial records, an indictment is likely.

“I expect him to be indicted,” Lancaster said. “Just based on what I saw in his financial records, I would be surprised if he’s not indicted.”

As part of a criminal tax probe into Hunter Biden’s questionable finances, Roberts recently testified in Delaware to a federal grand jury. In response to an earlier subpoena, Lancaster had provided federal investigators with “a significant amount of Hunter’s financial records.”

Lancaster represented Roberts in a 2019 child-support case against Biden, which is why he was in possession of the documents. When asked how many was “a significant amount,” Lancaster replied, “Oh, hell, it was a bunch.”

“They’re all in electronic form,” he said. “I would estimate it was anywhere from 10 gigs of data.”

Lancaster added that “a lot of information” that he saw would be “problematic” for the president’s son.

Even so, Lancaster stressed, “I’m not making any statements about what was in the tax records, whether he paid taxes, or whether he didn’t pay taxes.”

Lancaster, who practices in Little Rock, AK, stated that both he and Roberts were interviewed more than a year ago by an assistant U.S. attorney, an FBI agent, and an IRS agent — “one that carries a badge and gun.”

The interview with CNBC follows an explosive report from  The New York Times, which finally confirmed the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s now infamous forgotten laptop–a story that once was dismissed by the media and White House officials as “Russian disinformation.”

While the Times did reveal that Biden had apparently paid more than a million dollars in taxes, the investigation into his affairs had widened to include concerns of money laundering and foreign lobbying violations.

As reported in American Wire News, one of the emails found on Biden’s laptop included an exchange with Devon Archer, who sat with Biden on the board of Ukraine’s notorious Burisma energy company, that discussed concerns over the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) ahead of a trip to Ukraine by then-Vice President Joe Biden.

Burisma officials, Hunter Biden wrote, “need to know in no uncertain terms that we will not and cannot intervene directly with domestic policymakers, and that we need to abide by FARA and any other U.S. laws in the strictest sense across the board.”

He then suggested Burisma hire the law firm at which he was employed at the time to “devise a media plan and arrange for legal protections and mitigate U.S. domestic negative press regarding the current leadership if need be”

Lancaster told CNBC that among the documents given to investigators were Biden’s Burisma records.

“I had his Burisma pay records,” Lancaster said. “I had records of ultimately what Burisma paid into the United States.”

Biden settled the child-support lawsuit with Roberts in January 2020, CNBC reports, for an undisclosed monthly amount, retroactive to three months after their daughter’s birth.

According to Lancaster, neither Hunter Biden nor any Biden family members, including President Joe Biden, have even seen the little girl he had with Roberts.

“It’s sad, because the baby looks like him, with blond hair,” Lancaster said.

Hunter Biden denies any tax-related wrongdoing, and the White House has declined to comment.
